We never go for it. Team not motivated for these type of matches. Poor team selections, clearly not sufficient for a win. It's no accident. Keep repeating the same approach, expect the same result. Pity the fans who paid to be at the match tonight. |

We can all see it, why can't the management? Poor decision making. |
 | Forum Reply | 30m release clause for Delap when we go down at 16:48 9 Apr 2025
£30m is presumably the minimum value to activate his release from contract with us. If as many clubs are interested in him as reported, there could still be a bidding war before a final price is agreed? It's not a re-sale agreement to Man City with a fixed price? |

It's the lack of balance in recruitment that will have cost us. The obsession with buying young players, presumably with a resale value, together with an overload of physically weak attacking players, who get brushed off the ball too easily has been poor. We've been crying out for 2 or 3 physically stronger, more seasoned premier league campaigners all season. A Butcher/Mowbray style centre back and a midfield general was the minimum requirement, even if the investment was short-term for 1 or 2 seasons. And don't get me started on the Goalkeeping position. Anyone could make a mistake with the recruitment but not owning the problem and correcting it in the January window is unforgiveable. |
 | Forum Reply | Yesterday's programme at 20:22 18 Aug 2024
The other question is why so few programme sellers at the game yesterday for a crowd of 30k. I walked around the ground and only counted 6 or 7 programme stations. The card payment only policy was also not working well. Result was long queues and lots of people, myself included, walking away not prepared to wait for 30+minutes. Lost income for the club. |

Great match, so far. Both sides going for it and lots of errors. Not going to predict the outcome yet. |

 | Forum Reply | The most embarrassing result in ITFC history. at 17:15 27 Jan 2024
They didn't look motivated enough & there was insufficient urgency, particularly when chasing the game. That's ultimately down to the manager. I know it's not his style, but there are some occasions - today was a good example - when McKenna needs to be more demonstrative at the side of the pitch. Did he not learn this from Ferguson & Mourinho? |
 | Forum Reply | Too slow, guilty of overplaying, no killer instinct at 17:01 27 Jan 2024
Agree. That was the most annoying thing about today, so pedestrian & lacking in energy and pace throughout the team. That's unacceptable, whoever is selected to play, and had a sense of arrogance about it. If that had been an Alex Ferguson team they'd have got the hairdryer treatment at half-time. Somehow don't think that's McKenna's style. Make no mistake, McKenna's reputation will have taken a knock from this result. |
 | Forum Reply | Credit to the ref at 16:46 16 Dec 2023
Anyone else notice the ref come out for the warm up and go round several Norwich players and coaching staff giving out fist bumps? Never seen that before. Gave an impression of being over friendly. Surely not appropriate conduct by a referee ahead of a match? |
 | Forum Thread | A dangerous scoreline, 2-0 at 19:50 4 Nov 2023
Wasn't it after Town had thrown away a 2-0 lead at St Andrews {whilst still looking for their first win that season) that Hurst came out with the dangerous scoreline quote? Strange coincidence. |

Agree. There must be grounds for an appeal to the Football League to have the match replayed if it only continued because the referee applied a non existent rule. Anything that happened after that unlawful decision should be void. I'm not convinced that ITFC are wiling to challenge this however in the way that many other clubs would. We just seem to accept poor officials and the consequences of their actions as something to moan about and feel hard done by. Imagine if we miss promotion/play offs by 1 or 3 points if we didn't at least attempt an appeal. |
 | Forum Thread | A big shout out for Wes Burns at 21:34 12 Nov 2022
The only player to show some respect to the army guys today when the players entered the stadium for the match. Spoke to and shook the hand of one of the veterans. |

The Ref is nowhere to be seen in that clip, he was so far off the pace, no way he could make a decision based on full observation, so he basically had to guess. Lino didn't flag? If in doubt, thought they were meant to give advantage to the attacking team? Be interesting to hear his reasoning for the decision or the judgement of the Referee assessor on his performance today. |
 | Forum Thread | It's a salvage operation now at 22:31 15 Dec 2021
At least in the short term. We need a manager who can instill some discipline and passion into the team. Back to basics, not afraid to deal with these prima donnas who don't care about the club. Warnock for 18 months to turn around the ship. [Post edited 15 Dec 2021 22:32]
