Everton is the sort of step Liam should be taking especially as David Moyes will take care of him. His best possible destination is Newcastle but he plays 2nd fiddle (IF Isak is still there) Eddie Howe is the best manager he could work with! HOWEVER.. Man U even in their state are still a big pull and will pay the wages (that’s sadly what the game is all about) and he will be No1 striker!!! He’s miles better than Hojlund but this is where I get annoyed… 70-80 million they paid for that cart horse and we “are very well looked after” we will stand to make pittance from a player who we really should be making 30-40 million! It was a “posh” loan! The premier league is so corrupt and making me lose interest in football! As a man turning 40 in 2 months time I don’t think i’ll ever get that euphoria of the past 2 seasons! The game has gone and only geared for the top boys! Ipswich till I die…

The sooner we all realise the top end of the game is corrupt the better! I will love this football club whatever division we are in and obviously every fan wants their club playing in the best league/highest standard possible! But who can argue we had players who gave more heart/determination and love for ITFC over the past few years than the current crop on massively inflated wages! How on earth can the young and up coming talent in this county be playing to the tune of a German?? I just despair at football these days! |

It’s a very poor challenge by sadly a player we all thought would take Premier League football, unfortunately Leif has been found out defensively this season but I’m not having “horror” challenge or “over the top” as the biased budgie b*****d Sutton stated!! How is he even allowed to co-commentate on our games?? Another dig in the ribs to us this season! If it was Ben White making that challenge against Jack Clarke it would have been a yellow… The Journey has been a pleasure and something I’ll never forget and hold fond memories.. however the destination is a corrupt, boring and sad end! We haven’t been good enough, and that hurts a lot to say that but we have had some terrible decisions/injuries go against us this season! We go again…. COYB |

@armchair.. a lovely read! Nail on the head so many times! It’s been such a frustrating season after walking out of Portman Road most weeks “winners” in the past few years! We all wanted this.. this was the dream but let’s be honest we are sadly not quite good enough… for me nobody is to blame.. we are ahead of schedule.. we have a plan.. we have a structure.. we might have to drop down to come back stronger! We have not embarrassed ourselves like Southampton and they were only 1 season outside the premier! I just hope we learn from the season and put it right after our season as Champions in the championship! COYB |

We all have opinions which we are all entitled to but personally both centre halves in Burgess and Woolfie did not let us down today! O’Shea clearly filled in at right back and he’s shown he is a centre half but Clarke wasn’t ready to play 90 mins! Who we’ve really missed has been Axel with his premier league experience and composure since his injury! That is what is hurting us! For me those 2 goals conceded today don’t happen if he’s playing! Very fine margins at this level.. J. Clarke scores the sitter he balloons over the bar very early and it’s a different game! No player deserves to be singled out for costing us a game but clearly we have a few on this wonderful journey who are now sadly out their depth! I hate how the squad from the last 2 years has been broken up as the memories will live with me forever but some have gone a step too far but I’ll be forever grateful for the entertainment/passion/love they have shown our club! Dom Ball played a massive part in our back to back promotions (happy times) for the proper town fans along with Sone Aluko! Clearly we have jumped so quickly and some players will find it hard or not be able to adapt to premier league football however just have some Bl00dy appreciation for the players that have given us this opportunity to watch premiership football again! I for one never thought it would happen again so quickly! You could see he wasn’t 100% but was willing to give everything when asked! That’s the sort of team spirit and morale our great club currently have due to our amazing manager and backroom staff! I cannot believe and there shouldn’t be any negativity from any fan about anything happening with ITFC in the current situation! Our club is being run so beautifully and I’m so assured in the structure of our club! A little underwhelmed by our summer transfer business I must say.. thought Ashton could sell the project but this league is so competitive and 12-15 clubs will all believe they have a shot of the big time!! We have more than held our own so far and we are watching the best football in years.. I’d much rather consolidate in this league for 2-3 seasons with thee odd good cup run than go back to back promotion, not be ready and yo-yo like thee enemy down the road. Problem will be if others take a light to our fantastic young manager and we have to start again! In the meantime let’s continue our superb support of the club we finally have back and enjoy the ride!! If Gareth Ainsworth can say it, so can we.. write us off at your peril… COYB |
