Every fan has every right to criticise a player let’s get that straight. Ogbene was bought for 8 million… EIGHT MILLION!!! He was so unfortunate to pick up a horrific injury early in his ITFC career but we paid far too much for this guy as we’ve done for Philogene and Jack Clarke… 45 million spent on those 3 players.. have they offered/showed enough? DEFINITELY not! Broadhead better than Clarke and Burns more effective than Philogene! I question is Greaves better than Burgess?? These players are young and can develop under our good coach but we need to start seeing more from Clarke and Philogene.. after all.. for me they were bought with the belief we do go down and they should shine in the championship! Currently frustrated.. but early days.. we need to see a big improvement in September!! COYB |

Referee aside.. we were so poor.. early days and relationships need to be made like our previous TEAM! That’s why we got to the promised land.. no prima Donna’s.. players who gave their all for ITFC! I think we’ll be ok but I need to see more of a TEAM spirit.. it goes a long way! Derby were a bunch of spoilers.. we are going to get that at PR this season sadly… teams will be delighted with a point.. it’s up to us to break them down! Frustrating times admittedly at the moment.. we’ve been spoilt.. Kieran needs to build a new team! What does annoy me is that he sticks to the system and changes personnel.. Amorim like.. maybe sometimes play 2 strikers?? Long way to go.. league table after 4 games is not pretty.. time for McKenna now to earn his contract and build our new team to challenge to win this league! COYB |

We are a target.. the cup final for every side in the division! Before we were “little old Ipswich” the forgotten club.. nobody feared us and it played into our hands with how open others were! We now have to break teams down and with George Hirst No9 we will continue to be slow in our approach and struggle to be quick enough to out think our opponents! We have so many technically good footballers.. but we are not a team.. we are predictable! We have no bite in the middle of the park! We miss Sam so much! He was the glue to the football club… is Greaves better than Burge? Is Clarke better than Broady? So far NO.. BUT the towel is not going in yet.. a very poor start.. many players still to arrive and leave PR in the next 10 days.. we haven’t got our team yet.. i am very concerned and I do feel McKenna “speaking” to clubs last summer made a lot of our back to back heroes question his commitment to ITFC hence why so many have left.. if we get to 10 games and we are not top 6 big questions will be asked.. and rightly so.. keep the faith Uppa Towen….. |

Virginblue… get your facts right… sammie was pushing for a move to itfc as it clearly was his last possible chance of playing in the premier league… he “pushed” through the move correct but did he refuse to play?? I think he said look please give me this chance but actually scored 3 goals in Blackburns first 2 games!! What Omari has done makes many fans think “what is the point” we go up.. we offer a player with big potential a 5 year contract.. he signs it… why sign a 5 year deal if you wanna jump ship so soon?? Please accept the game has gone regardless of Ashton/McKenna etc.. these young over hyped English players are obsessed to call themselves a “premier league player” even though they’ll only be squad players!! Same as his mate Hackney who’s getting wrongly advised! Up coming English talent are far better plying their trade in the championship to gain minutes but sadly money talks and they see the hype/agent blowing smoke up their backsides and go for the money!!! |

Cameron Humphreys is NOT good enough for god sake! Why do so many fans think if he’s “one of our own” they’d prefer him to a loanee from a premiership club! Needs must this season and if we have to loan players to get us back up so be it! Humphreys is lightweight and good enough would have controlled the playoff game v Charlton but I saw nothing to suggest he becomes an ITFC squad player let alone a first teamer! Cat 1 status will hopefully breed more home grown talent which we all want to see but this game is brutal and Cameron Humphreys is sadly not thee answer to the departing Mass and Sam! COYB |

Everton is the sort of step Liam should be taking especially as David Moyes will take care of him. His best possible destination is Newcastle but he plays 2nd fiddle (IF Isak is still there) Eddie Howe is the best manager he could work with! HOWEVER.. Man U even in their state are still a big pull and will pay the wages (that’s sadly what the game is all about) and he will be No1 striker!!! He’s miles better than Hojlund but this is where I get annoyed… 70-80 million they paid for that cart horse and we “are very well looked after” we will stand to make pittance from a player who we really should be making 30-40 million! It was a “posh” loan! The premier league is so corrupt and making me lose interest in football! As a man turning 40 in 2 months time I don’t think i’ll ever get that euphoria of the past 2 seasons! The sooner we all realise the top end of the game is corrupt the better! I will love this football club whatever division we are in and obviously every fan wants their club playing in the best league/highest standard possible! It’s a very poor challenge by sadly a player we all thought would take Premier League football, unfortunately Leif has been found out defensively this season but I’m not having “horror” challenge or “over the top” as the biased budgie b*****d Sutton stated!! How is he even allowed to co-commentate on our games?? Another dig in the ribs to us this season! If it was Ben White making that challenge against Jack Clarke it would have been a yellow… The Journey has been a pleasure and something I’ll never forget and hold fond memories.. however the destination is a corrupt, boring and sad end! @armchair.. a lovely read! Nail on the head so many times! It’s been such a frustrating season after walking out of Portman Road most weeks “winners” in the past few years! We all wanted this.. this was the dream but let’s be honest we are sadly not quite good enough… for me nobody is to blame.. we are ahead of schedule.. we have a plan.. we have a structure.. we might have to drop down to come back stronger! We have not embarrassed ourselves like Southampton and they were only 1 season outside the premier! I just hope we learn from the season and put it right after our season as Champions in the championship! COYB |

We all have opinions which we are all entitled to but personally both centre halves in Burgess and Woolfie did not let us down today! O’Shea clearly filled in at right back and he’s shown he is a centre half but Clarke wasn’t ready to play 90 mins! Who we’ve really missed has been Axel with his premier league experience and composure since his injury! That is what is hurting us! For me those 2 goals conceded today don’t happen if he’s playing! Very fine margins at this level.. J. Clarke scores the sitter he balloons over the bar very early and it’s a different game! No player deserves to be singled out for costing us a game but clearly we have a few on this wonderful journey who are now sadly out their depth! I hate how the squad from the last 2 years has been broken up as the memories will live with me forever but some have gone a step too far but I’ll be forever grateful for the entertainment/passion/love they have shown our club! Always tough to take a loss but look where we’ve come from….. Uppa Towen |
