Is it time to have official time keeping displayed on the big screen? 4th official stops the game clock when a player goes down needing physio and starts when ball is back in play. Also, stop the clock for subs, ref supposed to add 2 min per substitution stoppage but rarely adds full 2 min, if he did there would be at least 8 min AT for every game.
Other sports have official timekeeping and you end up with more ball in play time. |

Looks a really good one for the future and definitely worth an investment (youth level for Norway 32 goals in 35 matches, Harland 34 goals in 53 matches). I think we have a great blend of youth and experience in the squad. I don't think MA will have his feet up just yet as there are a few players to figure out to get the squad number down. I assume SWE will not count towards squad based on age. |

Annoying result but having watched the game this morning I finally see Town "imposing themselves on a team" which is what McKenna has been saying he wants to do. 72% possession, 15 shots vs 2, xG 1.34 and some of the play had a lot of intensity. One stupid mistake and wayward shooting it could have been different. If we keep playing like this and get shots on target then the season will look good. |

I agree itfcskayman, I think they are very different players but Hirsty does bring other players into the game and has really good pace to get behind the defence and I think he then looks for a team mate rather than trying to do it on his own. Would like to see GH start and then bring Liam on when the centre halves are tiring and he can run at them. Having said that, its hard to argue against 9 goals. |

Whilst I agree that was an awful performance, I think it was as much that City were way above our ability at the moment. However, I am still prepared to support the team and continue on this journey of rebuilding the club. Yes, there will be rough times like today (I still remember that 9-0 thumping) but I don't want to settle for Town just being a perennial Championship club. We may have to be a "Yo-Yo" club but the money will gradually rebuild the squad until we can be in a better position to seriously compete with the top clubs.

I think this also gives an indication of why we need a strong completive squad, as more players go of on international duty there is additional risk of injury. Need strong cover for these players. |
