For me the fact that clubs would not agree to it does not make it a bad idea , i do agree they would not agree though . I think its a decent idea and maybe worth thinking about as it might give new managers a bit more time if they dont get off to a great start and possibly make clubs give appointments more consideration ?

Can't say I know much about this development squad signing and with the departures it seems to have gone under the radar somewhat. Checking his record in Premier league 2 looks promising.
