So many fans of other clubs on Championship chat groups on FB and elsewhere haven't got a good word to say about GH, saying he couldn't score etc. They are thinking about the 2022 GH , not the “new improved” 2023 GH. Clearly haven't seen the away goals at Derby, Bolton and Barnsley, none of which I would say are tropical L1 squads. I can't wait for him to prove them wrong. |

It staggers me how low fans from other Championship clubs rate him on other Championship chat groups on Facebook etc. I guess they have only seen the 2022 George Hirst and not the “new improved” 2023 version. They said he didn't score goals at Blackburn and could only cut it in L1, but I would argue that Bolton and Barnsley are both Championship-grade, and look at the beauties he scored against them!
I think we are in for a strong season. Top half, for sure. |
