Vincent Young - Would he have been a free last summer

when we had him on trial?

Fair play to Evans if he was because it must be frustrating to now have to pay half a million quid for the kid.

All time 5 aside team
at 15:54 5 Sep 2018

On talksport this morning following the Danish picking 5 aside players Brazil and McCoist picked their all time British 5 aside team. For the record Brazil (who imho gets a rough ride on here) picked 2 town players in his + Sivell as sub!).

Anyway mine would take some beating.

Looked a bad one so could be out for a while. Credit to him for staying out there and doing his bit.

McGoldrick - So 3 weeks before the season starts he's without

a club. How's he preparing and getting match fit? These Bosman players are bizarre these days. He'd have been settled with a club back in the day.

Smith came off second half. Hope it's not an injury and they left Chris Wood on the bench till late on for some random.

3rd Test Squad
at 13:23 20 Jul 2017

What more does Mark Stoneman need to do to get in the England side. Doesn't make sense. One of the top County League run scorers this summer and this test is on his home ground.

The spinner situation is equally baffling sticking with Dawson ahead of Rashid (who had a decent winter).

5 or 10 year fixed rate mortgage ?
at 13:17 9 Mar 2017

Later this summer my fixed rate mortgage is up. Currently I'm at 3.99% and my same bank are offering 1.9% for a 5 year fixed rate or 2.59% for a 10 year fixed rate.

I'm tempted to sign up for the 10 year deal.

Any mortgage buffs out? I appreciate I could probably get a better rate by shopping around but generally I'm thinking surely rates can't get much lower so it might be worth grabbing a 10 year deal?

The Mrs went back to work today
at 18:14 7 Mar 2017

The Mrs went back to work today for the first time since our 11 month old Junior Tractor Boy was born meaning that I had the little man for the day.

We did the seaside, b&q and dropped in on friends. He's now bathed clean and sound asleep and dinner is cooked in time to head off to Fortress Portman Road.

A doddle. I can't see what all the fuss is about. I wish we could afford for me to be a stay at home dad.
