I couldn't agree more, Mullet. I guess we can all understand why Liz Edwards got upset, but she has exaggerated the problem, and used emotional blackmail to make her point. As you rightly say, our club is a broad church - but that doesn't mean we need to be preached at. It's a pity that those who allowed her unbalanced remarks to be published in the matchday magazine (and read out at half-time, I see) did not think about this, and consider the better alternatives for dealing with trouble, where proved. They should also remember that she does not, by virtue of her position, actually represent the majority of Town supporters. |
