Kiwi, if you were going to play them as a two it would likely be Delap who would be deeper. Hisrt's biggest attribute is his pace in behind and stretching defences. I don't think he's suited for the 10 role. Delap however likes to drop deep to pick up the ball. I don't think that's the solution though. |

The wrong teams have been attached here. Ipswich Muric Burns O'Shea Woolfenden Greaves Davis Phillips Cajuste Broadhead Taylor Delap |

Just think that Greaves is better suited for stepping out and putting pressure on Odegaard for this one. |

Excellent stuff as usual. So nice to finally be able to watch after a win. What a game! Agree with the assessment of there being so many players who was excellent.MoTM for me was between O'Shea,Cajuste,Hutchinson and Szmodics, think Szmodics just edges it for his goal contributions |
 | News Comment | TWTV Video Verdict - Everton With Alan Lee at 14:05:36
Excellent analysis as usual gents! I think Burns misses Chaplin in the side a lot and H.Clarke as well actually, no one seems to pick him out with many balls in behind. Lots of fans are calling for Szmodics down the middle but i'd like to see a front three of Omari right, Chaplin centre and Szmodics left for Brentford. |

I think Muric will be back in for Fulham but it's a good opportunity to give Walton more minutes in this competition. |

Danger of writing these early is the injury updates. Looks like Ayinde (LW), Carr (CM), Barbrook (LB) and Agbaje (RB) might actually be getting starts given the injury situations |

Excellent read. Brereton Diaz is one I keep seeing linked in various places but he didn't overly excel at an admittedly poor Sheffield United side and I'm not sure he'd fit in that well with the rest of the dressing room. Philogene is another one who I just can't see moving again having only joined Hull last season but would be a quality signing |
 | Blog Comment | Opposition Preview - Blackburn Rovers (Away) at 10:42:29
Yeah, the international pair were the two hardest positions to call for this one. Ali also withdrew from international duty because he was carrying a knock so might not be fully fit to start either. 100% McKenna doesn't get many things wrong |

I think this has been a very good window. We were only ever going to get players that improved the squad and that was always going to be hard. Not many players i'd swap Davis, Woolfy, Morsy, Chaplin, Broadhead or Burns for in this league. All of the signings we've made bring a splash of Prem quality, a couple of highly rated youngsters and different options to playing styles which will be useful when we face a variety of teams over the course of the season. |

One of the starting line-up predictions is wrong already as Buchanan has left Bremen to join Birmingham today! |
 | Blog Comment | A Look at Potential Transfer Targets: Goalkeepers at 17:02:41
We have Nick Hayes as third choice but he has no football league appearances. Antoni Bort is our U21 Goalkeeper but again I wouldn't say is ready to step up as a second choice. Interestingly the average age for a Championship backup Goalkeeper is actually 29.5 (Based on second most appearances for a Club in a season, where there was a tie using the most times in the squad) So having a young number two really is rarer than you'd think. |
