 | News Comment | Season Tickets Up 10 Per Cent at 12:37:38
Best way to look it is compare this season and next season on a price per win or per point basis. Taking nothing for granted but I reckon next season we'll get better value. |
 | News Comment | Lunchtime Release For EFL Fixtures at 21:19:26
Agree kesblue. It all boils down to money for the players, managers, parasitic agents etc. The leagues could have every game at 3 on Saturday and 7.45 tuesday/Wednesday as it used to be when I first went to a game but tv etc wouldn't pay much and players etc would be paid much less. |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-4 Arsenal - Match Report at 21:30:19
Dsusth, Great you've been watching Town a long while and hope you do for many more. Can I ask you which other season in all those you have seen did we get to Easter with only 1 home win but 12 home defeats? I've only been watching since 1978 but haven't seen one. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We'll Have Learned an Awful Lot This Season at 09:15:05
We've got to Easter weekend with ONE home win and ELEVEN home defeats including nine of the last ten. Although "only" lost two of the first six. Whatever he's learnt he's failed to improve home results. Just the opposite. Abysmal. |
 | News Comment | Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud at 09:56:31
Bazza. 25, 23, 20ish. All wrong!!!!! . Same for years outside the top div. 25? Wrong again!!!!!! . But keep on ranting in ignorance with no credibility. You're very entertaining. |
 | News Comment | Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud at 17:43:00
I'm afraid Bazza you've lost any credibility you might have with your blatant ignorance of facts. "25 years of top division continuity" indeed. Next time do some basic research before you post things you know nothing about. |
 | News Comment | Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud at 10:19:29
You can see why the club doesn't sign non-english speaking foreigners from abroad. Super Kieron McKenna needs to be able to coach players in speaking his drivel to the sycophantic media. |
 | News Comment | Johnson: We've Done the Club Proud at 00:55:28
Bobblehat. But Terry Butcher did not say "we've done the club proud", the pathetic comment Johnson made which is the subject here. |
 | News Comment | Scotland Boss Clarke Watches Hirst at 12:09:34
I think George did really we for us in our promotion seasons, when he wasn't injured, but that Scotland would consider him for international selection reflects the dearth of talent they have available. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: We've Managed and Played the Second Half Really Poorly at 14:47:52
The old guard that the Gamechanger etc.money bought us in the EFL had ability, ambition, drive, desire but needed good coaching to be a successful team and that's what McK did. They've now largely been replaced by Championship journeymen and young former Cat 1 academy players with some loan time in the Championship for their development. Ability in many cases but little drive ambition or desire other than to say they play in the PL and get PL money. They need managing and motivating. We have a good coach but he's not a manager. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Lack of Home Wins Mostly Down to Small Margins at 21:20:39
Should never blame a player for getting something wrong. Blame the person who picked the player in the team. Every member of the squad is here because the manager wants him here. It's Mck's squad nobody else's. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Painful Loss But Lots of Positives in Display Against Saints at 21:15:46
Here's the main positive for the manager and his players from that game. They participated and got beat, failed to win at home once again, and all of this season's newcomers still get Premier league pay for a Championship performance. Why care about relegation they'll still be rolling in it. |
 | News Comment | McKenna: Painful Loss But Lots of Positives in Display Against Saints at 16:54:28
Unfortunately in the way he looks at games KM regresses at times to the youth development coach that he was for the longest period of his career, where the result is not the most important thing. For him the most important thing is his development, so he can achieve his "big club" ambitions, he's still learning on the job here and he has the security of his new contract, the highest paid learner in the game. |
 | News Comment | Carrick: Edmundson Deal Needs to Be Right For All Parties at 14:15:37
Lack of class shown by whoever is trying to get what is, in the light of the amount we're throwing about on incoming transfers, a relative pittance more out of this sale, but that's Premier League all over. |
