Amazing! 3833 is up to ten times as many as there were of us as were there when I first went in 1986. We had plenty of room on a big terrace at one end, total crowd was fewer than 5000! How things have changed! |

I also liked that he did his small acknowledgement to the crowd before the game and left the players to do the after game. |

Yes, and Sunderland have already won twice as many home games as SKMc won all last season. |

5 players selected for England France Belgium Italy for example would indicate a very high level, 5 for Gibraltar San Marino Faeroes etc would indicate a very low level. 5 for ROI indicates we recruit at and for the level we are. |

That we have 5 players picked for a minor football country's national team says a lot about our level of recruitment in recent years. |

It was ludicrous back then how the season was often not completed on the scheduled day. We were poor away that year, the Oxford game stands out. Bit better at home, interesting that although we only had 2 more home games than last season we won at Portman Road EIGHT times more. |

That L1 season, the basket case of a club Sheffield Wednesday finished just 2 points behind us. That's how poor that division was. Out promotion with the help of gamechanger money was an expected achievement. Nothing more. The next year was a massive over achievement though and KMc deserves credit for that |

Fans/supporters of the club - we're here for life. Players, managers etc are just the current employees of the club) (and with extremely few exceptions) - they're just passing through. Enjoy the good ones while they're with us. |

One of our former managers has lived in Bromley since he managed Millwall, still does apparently. Perhaps he can put up anyone that doesn't manage to get a way home on the night. |

I remember going to Brescia for an Anglo-Italian Cup game, think we drew, there were very few of us there. Can vaguely remember them giving us all colour magazines celebrating them winning the Cup at Wembley the previous season. |

Is losing to a team that gets relegated in a season that you win a European comp unusual? We did unfortunately. |
