 | Forum Reply | Who’s off down to the South coast tonight then? at 12:31 2 Apr 2025
A long expensive trip down from Liverpool and 1.5 days' leave just to tick off a stadium that's half the capacity of most Championship teams. Can't complain at £52 for the hotel though, which includes a pool. |

Really annoying tonight because it was the right system but the wrong players. It's either one way or the other, every match. It's like McK is trying to find this instawin combo by switching up every time. For all the talk Taylor made in his recent interview, we constantly change the way we play but it always seems to be swapped against the wrong team at the wrong moment. |
 | Forum Reply | Anfield is a class stadium in a decent little city at 13:10 27 Jan 2025
I know this is some top quality trolling but after living in Liverpool for 3yrs I feel compelled to at least offer my opinion. For food there's Bold Street which has Korean, Asian fusion, Greek, Mexican and American options (all of which are independent as far as I know) as well as Rudy's pizza which started in Manchester and is good enough for my Italian friends. If you want to ignore that entire street then you have street food vendor buildings all of which are local in 3 (three) separate locations, that I know of, around the city. This is before even thinking about Chinatown which has the largest gate outside of China, there is a large Asian contingent in the city which addresses the wild claims of lack of diversity in Liverpool. I think it's pure stubbornness and willful ignorance which is stopping you from enjoying what is a fantastic place, which is a shame. Liverpool the same as Ipswich has its problems and its underdeveloped areas but you would feel just as frustrated with this thread as I do if I visited Ipswich, only went to Chantry, visited a rubbish chippy and a flat roof pub then wrote it off for being rundown. |

Errr...no, I'm watching it right now on my smart TV. Find the discovery+ app on the TV and you will be shown a screen where you need to go to e.g. discovery.com/Samsung on your phone, with some numbers underneath it. Then you scroll to the bottom, click on the free register option and put your first name and email address in. Then type the numbers on the screen, into your phone. It is an extremely simple process. It took me longer to type that out than it did to register. |

I'm currently watching it on Discovery+ for free, took me less than 2 minutes to sign up and don't even need an activation email. What on earth was that music skit about? Laughably awful! |

Einstein (Concert Square) is really good for matches, they've got about 50 screens in there so even if there's another big match on they'll likely be showing it. If not, walk the other side of the square to Cheers and ask there, it's a lot quieter. |
 | Forum Reply | Losing might actually help us... at 15:17 6 Apr 2024
Was saying this to my friend earlier before the match. The Cardiff loss just ended up spurring us onto 3 excellent results. 5 games and very little wiggle room though. And this result showed other teams how to completely nullify us. Very much hoping we're still suffering from this illness going round, which excuses the performance today. |

That's really interesting. For me the extra instructions would just be added to the thoughts bouncing round in my head at 3am but I guess that's why I'm not a professional footballer! Either way hope everyone got enough rest to enjoy(!) today, uppa towen |

Led me to wonder...how do these players actually do it before a game? Do they have people instructing them how to relax before this kind of thing? Must admit it's difficult for me to sleep anyway but this is adding some tension [Post edited 6 Apr 2024 2:23]

That really is wonderful to read. From that crap day at Lincoln hungover as hell on New Year's Day it does put things into perspective. |

Some boos heard in SBR Lower, no idea what that was about. It's like if we don't win comprehensively every match it's a failure. Crowd were abysmal tonight, tried everything in our power to get it going but it felt like a very hostile bunch this evening |

Seconded on Volare, I've been humming it to myself all weekend |

Pretty sure I saw Andre Dozzell in the cheese aisle. Definitely saw Luke Chambers rock up outside the place in a massive Land Rover the same week he announced he was leaving. Both at Warren Heath Sainsbury's. Way too chicken to approach either player |

If she gets the best out of the players pre-season, yes. Obviously there is a lot of weight to this and regardless of what happens this is a watershed moment. However the right person for the job should always get the job. |

So we need an established first 11 but sticking with an established first 11 is too predictable? Which is it? We won today by the way |
