havinit69 - If we were playing entertaining exciting football I'm sure everyone would feel different. When Burley started it took him seasons to get us success and us fans were happy to give him time, because the football was good and we used to enjoy watching the Town. I'm sorry to say but I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a game at PR as a spectacle.
There is no light at the end of the tunnel with Keane which is surprising considering he played under Clough and Ferguson for most of his career......

When Keane joined us I was ecstatic. As a previous post says, I was looking forward to our lack lustre team at the time getting a no nonsense approach. Afriend of mine wasn't as positive. After 2 days of his appointment he was fed up with the 'Roy Keane Show'. He has been proved right.

He is not the man for ITFC and never has been.

The cheering of the Barnsley passing can only be seen as a protest to how we used to play-and how we should be playing football. The Portman Road Faithful is fed up of watching terrible, terrible football. People on here are critical of the atmosphere at PR. Q: On Tuesday when was it the loudest? A: For the ten minutes in the first half that we were actually knocking it about and having a few attempts. In my opinion, PR needs good football.

For those posters that are still pointing out that we are in a 'decent' position please take note. WE ARE NOT IN THIS POSITION BECAUSE WE ARE ANY GOOD. WE ARE IN THIS POSITION BECAUSE IT IS A POOR LEAGUE! I completlely agree with another post stating what a missed opportunity it could be this year.

Looking at Keanes tenure, what positives can we take? Yes he trimmed the squad. Shame so many of them are playing well for other teams. I can't think of anything else.

I was willing to give him the benefit at the end of last season, but when he failed to emerge for the 'lap of honour' at the last game of last season my opinion started to waver.

ME - Please replace the ego with knowledge before it's too late.

I'll pick Curbishley up myself.

Keane: Forest Defeat Much Like Watford
at 12:03:10

I'm in my thirties now and have been watching town since I was 10. I've seen some dross. (Duncan Mcgiven etc). I have tried to be positive. I was elated when Keane was appointed. Really confused now. Its not just the losses for me. The style of football we play is dreadful. Times are hard and having to fork out to be thouroughly bored out of my brains is starting to wear a little thin. If we were to lose having a go at teams, fair enough but to continue with futile long throws (Edwards) and pathetic corners (Leadbitter), Scotland up top on his own, constant changing of team selection, playing players out of position ....shall I go on. When was the last time there was any real entertainment at Portman Road. Pablo's last minute goal for me and thats it.
I think Roy has got until December to turn this around. Too many people fed up with boring football week in week out!
