 | News Comment | Manchester United 'In Pole Position' For Delap at 15:49:27
I personally think United is the best move for him when considering the profile of their traditional, successful number 9''s which they've clearly lacked in recent times. An incredible talent all the same and looking forward to seeing how his career progresses. As I shouted at Everton Liam "one more year maybe" :-) |
 | News Comment | Season Tickets Up 10 Per Cent at 14:16:22
I think this is more than fair in the wider perspective of things - the club is in such a better place and such a good position moving forward , thanks to the hard work, vision and passion of everyone involved, including us the supporters and the part we play. Let the journey continue. |

We’re two points down in the reverse fixtures in the best league in the world! Everyone needs to chill out and regain perspective. What a journey. COYB. |
 | News Comment | Ashton: The Stadium Will Be Ready at 22:26:40
Great insight and welcome update. I have no idea how MA (and all) sleep at night with all that needing to be completed, my anxiety's literally gone through the un-complete roof! |
 | News Comment | McKenna Expected to Stay at Town at 18:16:22
I hope this is true, and if so, hats off to all involved in reaching this, in my opinion correct decision. The sports media have, as always been awful around the speculation, mostly fuelled by the need to gain clicks rather than true content. KM will become (and in many ways already is) one of the top managers in due course, but I'm so pleased the project continues! Absolutely made my summer if he stays. |
 | News Comment | Town Launch New Membership Scheme at 14:54:38
I think most of the comments on this are valid and I'm not looking to argue against them! I can see why loyal fans feel a bit dismayed. To add some balance to the argument however, I missed out on a season ticket (my fault) and live in Surrey so don't ge to see town that often, I try to make as many away games as I can (which always means just one ticket btw) withn a reasonable radius and commitments allowing, but last season, especially the latter part, I didn't get a sniff due to the priority placed on season ticket and high priority members (I'm not arguing against that) just making a point that this allows me, and probably a large pocket of fans to watch the odd game. And loyalty shouldn't just be measured on money! |
 | News Comment | Town Launch New Website as TownTV Studio Build Under Way at 09:49:59
We once managed to sneak into the 'gym' during a Tuesday night fixture in the mid/late eighties. No trouble caused just a lot of fun kicking a ball around - I seem to remember they had footballs hanging down from ropes used for header practice. Different times. |
 | News Comment | McGreal: Really, Really Poor First Half, the Inconsistency is the Crux of It at 08:47:36
Thinking of writing a town excuse annual: desire, passion, quality, pitch, wind, journey, covid, trump, brexit, gel, traffic, evans, seagulls, tannoy, paul…. |
