I try to imagine what impact KmK’s demeanour has on the players, and am sure that his calmness and focus on the things they can influence translates into them playing without tension. Yes, a little disappointing not to win, but an excellent performance against a very good side in good form. A great game to watch. The performance and result were heavily affected by missing players - you can’t lose Hirst, Broadhead, Davis, Morsy and Burns from the team and expect to reach similar levels to those we’ve enjoyed this year. I give credit to the team for continuing to play out from the back and strain every sinew to get a result.
It’s at times like this that the boys need our backing most - easy to roar them on when they’re knocking in 3 or 4 a game at full strength. COYB! |

Dissboyitfc it literally is the best Championship start by a promoted side - yesterday we exceeded Southampton’s start in 2010/11 (I think). Accurate assessment by Tomasson imo. I found Mark Steed to be professional, courteous and engaging, in common with all of the American colleagues in the ownership that we've heard from. Positive certainty, but I saw a noticeable lack of bs ie happy to talk about negative surprises as well, albeit in the minority. Shows he means business. I find the negativity extraordinary. Can't wait for 30th July personally. |
