Keane: Run Harder To Turn Around The Longer It Goes On
at 12:07:11

Still find it baffling that Keane hasn't got himself an assistant. How many successful managers have there been who have not had assistants? I can't think of any and look at the effect Wilkins leaving Chelsea has had, they haven't won since he got sacked. If he is going to stay then he needs to swallow his pride and bring someone in who can help him.

Was reading the Wickham to Premier League rumours on web the other day and cam across this

Keane: We Rode Our Luck
at 19:43:49

Wasn't the greatest game i've ever watched, but we deserved to win.
We looked dangerous going forward in the first half, Priskin especially caused their centre backs a hard time. Bit backs to the wall for most of the second half, especially when we had just Wickham up front.
Gary Speed says his team worked on set pieces during the week, they obviously didn't work very hard because they looked like a shambles every time we put a throw or corner in the box.
Good win, back in the play-offs and ahead of Norwich, great weekend.

Warnock Confirms QPR Walters Bid But New Chester Not Entitled to Cash
at 09:36:49

Really glad Walters didn't go to QPR, he inevitably would have come back and scored against us.
Bit hard on Chester, but rules are rules. The club we bought Walters from doesn't exist any more, so there is no one for us to pay.

Managers Agree Town the Best Side on the Day
at 20:18:01

Fantastic result. Boro look really strong this season, so a win at the Riverside is cracking.
Pleased to see Keane has faith in the youngsters as well, hopefully this will continue.

Town and Leeds to Move for Chopra
at 09:33:21

If we can get Chopra then I think the top 7 can be a very realistic target for this season.

Feel we need a more creative midfielder than Norris and Leadbitter, neither of whom are going to score many from midfield.

Wickham and England in Semi-Final Action
at 09:59:57

They are probably not showing it live because they have live coverage of the French Open all day, which i'm sure they paid a hell of a lot to get.

Rangers and Premier League Side Chasing McAuley
at 12:22:38

Rangers haven't signed anyone for 2 years and haven't even got enough money to give their manager a contract, so can't see them making any kind of substantial offer for anyone, let alone an average Championship defender.
If a club made an offer of over £1million i'd have no problem seeing McAuley going. He's not particularly mobile and gets caught out by pacey strikers.

Keane: No Cotton Wool for Luca
at 10:01:07

Dreblue - Harewood is a good shout. Experienced player who cold cause trouble to Championship defences.
Saw someone mention Jason Roberts on here last week, not playing too often for Blackburn, so could be available.
We've really lacked natural width in midfield this year, Keane needs to bring in a natural winger. (Preferably better than Edwards, who doesn't run at defenders and can't cross)

Tottenham Make Wickham Bid
at 20:51:41

Not sure what truth there is to this story. As far as i can see it's only a Daily Mail report, nothing official on either Town or Spurs website, or BBC and Sky sports.
Fingers crossed it's just the usual tabloid rubbish.
Bale and Walcott both went for fees around £10 million, Wickham could well end up being as good as them, so £5 million wouldn't be enough for me.

Keane Thanks Fans
at 20:10:27

My belief in Keane has grown after last night. As sickening as the result was, the performance was comfortably the best we've seen at home this year.
The atmosphere last night proved how much belief and support there is from the fans. Things are on the way up for Town.

Keane: I\'ve Learned a Lot About My Players
at 12:14:10

Keane really needs to buy a central midfielder, we need someone to replace Norris. A midfield of Healy and Trotter is not going to get us promoted.
