Can't remember the last time I commented on here. But then can't remember us being this bad. Totally insipid display, clueless manager who HAS to go. Could also do with an owner who actually gives a damn. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 |

@TimmyH I would also class myself in the realist category, however in my reality Mick has stablised a sinking ship and I will be content with a steady season this time round. I believe the making/breaking of Mick will be next season when (hopefully) the purse strings are loosened following a strong end to the current season. I would hope at this point we he can attract players that can really make a difference in a game (much like Leicester had on Saturday just gone - I was fuming that Mick reacted too slowly to thier substitutions, however I was also struggling to see in our current squad who would have stopped Leicester during the second half). I would love us to be playing an amazing attacking passing game, however I think at the moment Mick is doing OK with the squad at his disposal.I also think he has had an awful lot to sort out at the club since he has come in. Is he my ideal manager - no. Is he the best option for Town currently - I believe he is. |

Marcus - "TimmyH do you need a drink?" TimmyH "Yes please Marcus, my glass is half empty!" ;o) |

Marcus - "Look Mick, I've wasted millions in the last couple of years and I can't justify it again, sorry" Mick - "Ok, how about I stabalise our league position without spending a lot to start with, then if we're challenging for the top six come the new year you let me have some cash to push us that little bit higher?" Marcus - "That sounds fair." Mick "Done." At least I hope that's how it went. If Mick can get us near the top six come January, maybe the purse strings will be loosened a bit at the prospect of Premier League riches? |

Bugger, for a minute I thought we had signed that bloke from Star Trek. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Henderson's Return at 10:13:12
I believe the plan is to stay in this division, not taking risks with long term/large wage contracts and re-build in the summer. This is sensible and prudent given the implications of FFP. Januarys transfer business IMO has been good, strengthened defence and striking options, brought in some midfield creativity and all at negligable cost/risk to the club. And finally, to all those who blindly trust Loach because he is a 'blue' - so am I, but that doesnt mean I'm good enough to be between the sticks on Saturday afternoon. If Loach had come two yards off his line and collected what was always his ball during the second half of the Barnsley game, we might not have conceded the corner that they scored from. I appreciate that is hypothetical but the points tally difference from when Henderson plays to when Loach plays speaks for itself in my opinion. |

@taylor15 He was given a good reception what's better is in his brief appearance he looked confident going forward and provided one good cross after overlapping Edwards. For me this was Murphy's best game in a town shirt. Special mention for Henderson who i have been quick to criticise - humble pie for me tonight, he was superb! |
 | News Comment | Henderson: I'm No Benchwarmer at 19:07:07
I don't believe that Scott Loach should be dropped for having a howler. I also believe competition for places in the team (all places) is healthy. My biggest belief however, is that you shouldn't be first choice just because you support the team and make all the right noises. Hell, I've supported Town all my life, been going to matches for 30 odd years, am currently a season ticket holder and I am also a goalkeeper -THAT DOESN'T AUTOMATICALLY MAKE ME THE BEST KEEPER FOR ITFC THOUGH! Let's pick our players based on who will get us points for the time being please. And anyway, who's to say Portsmouth really didn't accept an offer from us and Henderson might want to stay permanently? Or Jewell can sign me, I am a "true blue" after all, isn't that all some people seem to want.......? |
 | Blog Comment | Who Should My Son Support? at 18:49:49
My son is also 5. The other day he told me his favourite colours were green and yellow. I wanted to make him sleep in the garage for that but his mum said that was a bit harsh. However all is not lost. With the promise of a new duvet cover, curtains and rug for his bedroom ( all to come from the ITFC shop ) I will get him to be a blue. Or I'll put him up for adoption. |
 | News Comment | Jewell Doesn't Expect Any Deadline Day Deals at 15:28:13
To let your only covering centre back go is at best incompitent and at worst blatantly negligent! I really hope that short term loans are not the answer to what PJ himself has identified repeatedly as a major problem for us. It does make you wonder if the blind do really lead the blind at this club now. |

I've got a new home shirt and have just finished a fry-up. That's my preparations for the new season sorted. |

@ andygizmo I had him in my team for a Subbuteo game last night and he looked good. |

Is it just me or does hearing the phrase "D'Urso" make you want to hit something. Hard. Repeatedly. |
 | News Comment | Clegg: Keane Under No Additional Pressure at 22:14:03
I will admit to being diassapointed with the draw last night, however, had I been asked before kick off if I would take draw I would have said yes and been half way back to PR before remembering to say thank you. Yes we are making silly individual errors and as part of the goal keepers union I'll defend R Wright as he has kept us in most games this season. In my opinion a settled back four for two games running may help to iron out some of these errors, but I do feel we need a loan CB and sooner rather than later. I beleive that we are about to turn the corner and about the deepest thing I can think to say tonight is this...... I felt slightly embarrassed on Saturday when some fellow members of the stand I sit in began to taunt the Newcastle fans with cries of "we didin't sack SIr Bobby". No, we didn't. We gave him time and allowed him to build the team he wanted, a team the likes of which we may not see again. While I am not advocating that Roy is as good a manager as Sir Bob (yet??), I would like to say this, get behind the team, stop the incesscent bickering between ourselves, sing your hearts out for the lads and who knows? I think we are one bit of luck away from building a season that can see us become a premiership team again, maybe not this season I'll grant you but maybe next. Give the manager and the team your support now, lest one day we face opposition fans singing "we didn't sack Roy Keane"! Oh, and one last thing, the guy sitting in my row who spends 85 minutes of every home game telling our own players how bad they are.......shut up, you are really boring the sh1t out of me now!
