Town Topic: Who Next for Town?
at 14:05:15

First, Clegg has to go or at the least he should not be involved in the appointment process or decision.

Clegg Backs Keane at AGM
at 22:41:10

Thanks for the report.
Why would you give even one more penny to someone who has spent so many millions that I've lost count and has got very little to show for it and has not shown any improvements or delivered on his promises? Why? That funding should have given us the most potential we've ever had in recent years but we're now probably worse off (including on the pitch) than we've ever been recent years because the wrong people are in charge. How much longer do we have to watch all this and hear the manager say that he just needs this sort of player or just needs that sort of luck? What's going to change that suddenly makes Roy the man to turn it around when he's not been able to so far even with all that financial and management backing? Surely no-one believes that except Clegg and Roy himself? I'll cheer the players and support the team but if/when RK makes dubious decisions, I'll boo him, how else can I make my views known, other than not turning up? It's not quite come to that yet but I seriously doubt that we'll renew next season if nothing's changed.
Very disappointing, sad days. COYB.

Keane: Forest Defeat Much Like Watford
at 22:11:03

I hope RK goes soon. We can't really afford 3 season tickets these days (plus have to buy one for the young'un now too even though he's on our laps, and they're thinking about bringing in a minimum age policy next season apparently - so much for the family club that I remember that I've been supporting from my youth but I digress) so if I'm spending that much money year after year, I want to get some value for it. It's been dire since RK came and the rubbish he talks just makes it even worse. I've never heard anyone criticise the younger players but now they're going lose confidence and think the fans are on their backs and Roy's already written us off from the top 2, yeah thanks Roy, why didn't you let us know before we renewed that you'd be OK with your players only generally playing well (against Nottingham Forest) and having bad luck through not taking their one or two chances (in a whole game)? I'd have kept my money for something more worthwhile. It's not just about the money, I don't want to watch RK at our club not because I'm not a fan, but because I am. Sorry, rant over. Hope we do better and get a win on Saturday, we'll be there cheering <sighs>

Keane: We Deserved to Win
at 23:04:21

Well, I did see a bit more effort and passion from the players, hell I even saw RK get off the bench to swear at the ref, first time I've seen him on his feet looking like he cares all season. Is he going to get ANOTHER goalie in now because the new bloke let a goal in? (What happens in Jan when these two loan goalies go back and Richard Wright's confidence is in tatters because of RK's genius management?!) Aside from that, we weren't as bad as we have been, we could have won but we missed 2 or 3 sitters but at least one big positive to take from today is that we didn't concede a goal at the end and lose a point..... I thought the support was better today too (did laugh at the reaction when we scored though, you'd have thought we'd have just won the cup final, shows how desperate we've all been for a goal!). Here's hoping, c'mon you Blues.....

Keane Again Unhappy With Defending
at 22:20:47

Scoring 3 (us, that is!) is encouraging but I didn't think RK was the right appointment for us right at the start and now I'm even more sure, so come on Roy, prove me wrong, please, cos I love my club!!! (UEFA81, well said.)

Keane: I\'ve Learned a Lot About My Players
at 23:06:53

Do you know who I was watching for the last 15 mins last night? Roy Keane. Do you know what he was doing? Nothing. Just sitting there. No leader on the pitch, no leader in the dugout. I was disgusted with him. 3-1 down at home and he was just sitting there. I wonder what would Sir Bobby have thought of that? Or even Sir Alex? When Keane's appointment was announced, I just had a sinking feeling. Oh dear. I wasn't a Jim fan but couldn't think of anyone who I would have liked to come to us who we could realistically have had so wasn't convinced that getting rid of him was the right answer, much as he irritated me. I didn't used to like the way Jim was constantly moaning at his players from the touchline when he could have been motivating them and influencing the game in more positive ways but at least he was involved in the game and gave a damn. Keane, you may have learnt a lot about your players last night but I learnt a lot about you. If we don't start playing better damn quick and you don't start looking like you care, I'm gonna walk, not because I'm not a true fan but because I am, I won't watch you sit there doing nothing while we become a laughing stock and relegation fodder. God, I hope I'm wrong.
