Wright Linked With Preston
at 16:05:15

Can we just get a few facts straight here, Wrighty did not chase the money! He signed a long term deal with us but asked to have a clause put in his contract that if Arsenal (and only Arsenal) approached with a large enough offer he could leave. He signed with assurances that he would be the first choice keeper and his stats per game for Arsenal were better than Seaman's. He would have come back to Town but by this time we had been relegated and couldn't afford him. He left for Everton to get regular football and it was no coincidence that they finished fourth that season with Wrighty between the sticks. He subsequently went wherever his best chance was of getting back in the Engalnd frame but never managed it largely because of injury.

Ingimarsson Leaves Town
at 20:41:17

Am I the only one who thinks we missed a trick here by not pairing him up with Sonko. He was a regular in the Reading side that almost made it to the prem last season and would surely have had a good understanding with his old team mate. He didn't become a bad player overnight and I wouldn't be surprised to see him keeping a clean sheet against us in a few weeks. All the best Ivar.

Drury Starts Against Forest

Glad he is being given a chance but wider issues need addressing. A team that hasn't scored a single goal in seven games rocks up in our back yard and scores three at a stroll. Where is our pride?

Jewell Dismisses Sharp Bid Claims But Reveals New Scouts at Supporters Club AGM

Agree with everything you said apart from the Newcastle chanting. If you were at the game you will remember that the chant was "sacked Bobby Robson, we never sacked Bobby Robson" in response to the Newcastle fans abuse of Roy Keane. It was the Newcastle fans who lost the significance of the day despite the fact that they were winning and they were promptly silenced in seconds. Our tradition of backing our manager when times are hard is another one we should be proud of even if Roy wasn't right for the club.
