I understand the concerns. A month into the season we could be 10 points behind the leaders, then if we get new recruits late we will get the famous Kieran line “they need time to gel” We need to hit the ground running, it’s been a poor transfer window and all we seem to do is chase one player every season who ends up not coming. You say don’t panic. This forum will go into meltdown if we have a poor start and looking at the fixtures and our recruitment so far there’s a very good chance we could be well behind the leading pack. |

Striker is a real issue for us for some reason. Is KM being to selective with what he wants in that department? We cannot go a whole season or even half a season with Hirst and Ali, that is just plain stupid ! |

Give it a rest mate. His character isn’t in question. Yes,he has done some stupid things. But he must be a half decent guy plenty of clubs interested apparently. Drink driving is stupid,granted,but that was years back and he has obviously learned his lesson there. |

A lot of footballers don’t use their brains off the pitch. It’s what they can do on the pitch that matters. I’m sure not every TWTDs contributor is perfect either. Although some would have you think they are more perfect than god himself ! A bit of a rough diamond yes, and a bit sh!t housery on the pitch(sometimes you need a bit of that , Morsy was far from perfect there). I’d take him. Him and Hirst any day above Hirst and Ali. |

Sammy really hasn’t been utilised properly. I do worry that KM won’t use him correctly this season either. If not it has been a waste of his talent and you would wonder why we bought him in the first place. We shall see this season. |
