Tractorshark what basis do you say that majority of fans support Mick? Majority of fans I speak with in the ground, pub, twitter etc indicate a slightly higher % want a change or will give him to Christmas to turn it around and if not then remove him. |

Let's be careful what we wish for!!!! Sick of reading that on here!!! Mick's brand of football is dire & boring wether we win lose or draw, Mick should congratulate himself for the initial two season in terms of making us tough to beat, however this has been at the expense of entertainment, each season we're told that he'll give youth a chance but still manages to justify the selection of the older hacks or great characters rather than getting a balance between the two.... tho old be careful what you wish for brigade should consider the falling attaendances, lack of tv coverage (which brings in revenue) and look at the long term prospects on and off the field, the picture isn't rosey at all..... Having said all of that I am today bringing my 5 yr old to his first game with the hope of educating him into being a town fan.... just suspect that our "current" manager doesn't sap all creativity out of the game and make my job that bit tougher. Mick has to go, and our owner needs to show more intent to reposition our once great club. |

Gobsmacked... Wasn't good enough a month ago; but is now! Really am concerned for the season (let alone the scum game) I'm normally positive, but am struggling at the moment. |

A couple of signings away from what could be an interesting squad for the season, still carrying some deadwood (Douglas, Coke as examples) and risky to pin hopes on the youngsters but they got to get experience from somewhere. |

I'm not a fan of MM's style of football, in terms of long ball tactics. It seemed to me that he started the season trying attacking creative play but got burned at Reading and reverted to the simpler methods that he knows how to get results (regardless of the lack of any entertainment value) I agree with him in respect to losing creative players did have an adverse effect on the team, this is not an excuse but a fact, not adding a creative player in Jan was a mistake (a unfortunate repeated one) and the club is keen to ignore / excuse this failure. I just hope that MM evaluates the season, clears some of the deadwood and starts next season as he started this one (and sticks with it when things don't go to plan). |

Good news, hopefully he will be able to push on and be a regular in the first team squad; we should be patient with him. I agree with essex, why do we have to turn a bit of good news into a negative? |
