 | News Comment | Town Eyeing Uruguayan International Defender at 23:37:48
It would be a real disapointment if Woolfie goes, he is IMO our best footballing defender who can slow down the game, looks calm on the ball and can bring it out of defence and has a great passi g ability, short and long, I would love to see him play as a sweeper, but clubs don’t play with sweepers anymore…a real shame that anither of the band of brothers might be leaving… |

Cant wait until October, with Broady on the left, Burns back on the right and feeding his mate Chaplin onto Akpom to bang in another goal, OH, Hirst, phylogene clarke ans szmodics coming on as impact subs That’s not too bad a lineup is it? |

It’s going to be intersting to see what the atmosphere at PR will be on Sunday, the fans have made PR a couldron of noise and positivity over the last two seasons, if that goes sour it will be hard to see the team perform as well as we all want? Whatever has happened so far this season, we need the fans to stand firmly behind the team and cheer them louder than ever! |
 | News Comment | Bromley 1-1 Ipswich Town (5-4 on Pens) - Match Report at 22:39:45
What on earth has happened, the team does not look together, the squad we had the last time in the Championship were working and fighting for each other and enjoyed being around each other. This squad looks like they are strangers and look at the backbone of that squad all gone. Clarke looks like he is not enjoying playing for ITFC and has lost his confidence, why? I bet Philogene is glad he’s out of the squad at the moment, I don’t think he will make any differencece at all.. We need to keep Broady and start him regularly, surely that’s what he wants… OH clearly doesn’t want to be here, and we can’t recruit any decent players and after the first two games who can blame them |

A poor performance, but a point none the less, the team that starts the first game in September will look a little different from the todays starting lineup, liked the look of Humphries though |

It’s quite simple, if you are going to g to play Davis, you need Burgess in the team, if youwant to play Greaves you need Townsend tin the team, but not Greaves and Davis together! |

Well what a great season for the Premier League 2024/25! We are just into April and the three relegation places are all but confirmed. Liverpool are the champions elect! Three of the champions league places are all but nailed on! Which leaves the minor issue of the lesser European places, not a lot for Sky to get excited about is it! Well done Gary Lineker for getting out at the right time! Congratulations to the ‘Premier’ League for creating a closed shop where the rich are getting richer, bring on the Championship and some proper football.. |
 | News Comment | Manchester United 3-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 23:38:13
We have all got to realise that football is a massive business opportunity for the owners to make some money, so like all businesses you make investments and let’s be honest that what the players are, they will have a resale value as not many players at this level remain with one club, who remembers the last time a player had a testimonial match for long service to one club? Therefore you have to realise that this season in the Premier league has been hugely successful off the pitch, the stadium has been refurbished, the training ground will be one of the best in the country so capital investment is being made, you add merchandise to this success story and the feel good factor in the town, the stadium is sold out every home game and the football club is on the up with tremendous support, read the article today in the Daily Mail to see how impressed journalists are with the support for the club.. So although we are disapointed at the results, which by the way is not a good look for the Premier League when in Successive seasons the 3 promoted clubs have been relegated, behind the scenes the club is in a really good position, so there’s a lot to be proud of at ITFC.. It’s just that we don’t see the bigger picture because we base success on football results and not what has been and is planned just by getting to the Premier league. Which incidentally is the most toughest league in the world, coupled with a profit on Delap and parachute payments together with a better EFL tv deal for next season the future is bright, and we should all be chuffed as nuts that we are all, despite some negative comments, proud to support the BLUE ARMY! |

Here we go, is this our preferred team Palmer Johnson - links well with Omari and get him moving up the pitch O’Shea Woolfy - can get the team moving forward has passing ability Burgess - will throw his body on the line Townsend - solid defender Cajuste - our best midfielder Enciso - has the X factor Szmodics - A goalscorer Delap - no explanation needed Hutchinson - pace on the right wing Both sammy and Omari can alternate as a No.10 |
 | News Comment | Manchester United 3-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:20:48
It’s so disapointing, don’t the players know that to establish us in this league as other less fashionable teams have done, we need to start winning games by playing with pace and intensity on the front foot, and be tough to break down, we need to take the game to the opposition if they want to continue to be Premier league players.. We need to set up as we did at Arsenal and be more solid with a back three including the street fighter who is Burgess. It’s going to be very tough in the championship next season, we will lose Delap, Phillips and Cajuste and Morsy Burns and Luongo will be another year older and potentially Hutchinson and Davis will go with Kieran if he looks for another challenge. So those saying let’s go down and reboot, im afraid that may not be the answer.. |
 | News Comment | AFC Wimbledon 2-2 Ipswich Town (4-2 on pens) - Match Report at 22:11:59
There will be a lot of players who will be looking for a loan / transfer, probably some surprises just to get a game! The band of brothers are moving on. Still bring back in Greaves, szmodics, Davis and Morsy with Clarke, O’Shea, Phillips, Hutchinson and Delap and we may well start the new era and a new beginning |
 | News Comment | AFC Wimbledon 1-1 Ipswich Town - Half-Time at 22:02:18
The team spirit from the last 2 seasons is sadly lacking, there were some good performances from Clarke, O’Shea and Townsend and Phillips looked in control but no intensity from the team and I guess with all the new signings they are not the brothers in arms! Who said the season starts at Fulham, |

 | News Comment | Stuttgart Leading Hutchinson Chase Claim at 17:31:00
Can you really blame KM for not being tempted, working with and developing young players such as Mainoo, to get them to play in the style that we have done for a couple of seasons and now to test himself with European football… It’s been a great couple of seasons, but nothing stands still in football whether it’s players, managers or backroom staff who are ambitious and this opportunity may not be available next season… If it happens, thank you, good luck and Man Utd will become my 2nd team as I look on enviously! |
 | News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Middlesbrough - Match Report at 22:11:33
If all of the top 3 were winning their games well and we were 2 points clear at the top of the pile with 3 games left, everyone would be ecstatic, but with the top 3 dropping points there is some frustration, yet we are still 2 points clear! Let’s change the mindset of some supporters on here and be positive and look at where in 3 weeks time and reflect on a wonderful season wether its a 46, 48 or 49 game campaign! |
