Also i think of all the stadium announcers our current one is the best. yes he is cringe but there all cringe. Top tip if someone asks if you would like to be a stadium announcer and you say yes your cringe. there is something of the partridge about all of them.

Chances do get conceded as a result but you also need to factor in how many get conceded from going long and then losing the ball straight away. TIFO did a really good video about Dyche at Everton that's worth watching as it makes it clear that going long was the way they won the game.
GBs team used to play out from the back to invite the opo on to them to create space for the attack so it's not new just more "refined". I do think it's new how good keepers are on the ball now.
Other teams have got out while playing at least ok football, them up the road, Sheff u, as examples. Also, I think long ball physical football would see the crowds fall.
He could, probably will and I am not saying he won't. my thoughts are more about the risk involved in our situation. For us to make money though we would need to buy him go up and then he does it in the champ. That has a lot of failure points, we might not go up, he would need to stay fit for two seasons. Where as, if we were up already he would only need a good season and would be off to the prem for a profit. So for us its a much bigger gamble than say Blackburn.
Celina for me. the total investment of £7m is very rich especially when you consider you would want to sell for a profit. And only 2 or 3 players have left L1 for more than 7 million. one caveat is if we were going to sell then it would be 1 or 2 years in so might be more like a 5.5milion investment but still a big gamble. The value with Twine would be taking him going up and proving he can do it in the champ.
I would go Celina and spend elsewhere.

what do you mean by 2 up top? we have only really played 4231 with this squad so just wondering if you mean you prefer a different formation or the more a striker in the 10?
I would love to see Harper given a full game in the 10 playing a little deeper to give more options to play out from the back. More of a 42121 totally agree with the need for Wolfy though I would make the change now.
