My guess is KMcK wanted Vas to compete with a new incoming GK for #1. At 33, Vas may have wanted to be nailed on #1 but probably knows he would end up being back up keeper. Maybe this is why they couldnt agree terms.
Sounds like its not meant to be from here on.
Regardless, Vas will go down as a club legend!
