It was a crazy day. We were diverted via a load of terraces that ended up with their windows smashed in and a fair few cars turned over and then there wasn't much left of the train carriages that took an age to head back down.

Mad days in a different era, as a young kid I thought it was the dogs lox .. I guess it was a a part of what shaped me a a whole load of others. Different times for sure and the best and the worst was exhibited back then and it was a part of growing up.

Very mixed feelings in hindsight....

I listened to the Brentford game on the wireless whilst painting a ceiling so can't comment on HCs performance. I just feel that he is a good enough footballer to be coached and hence we have wasted a place with bringing Godfrey on in a loan in that position.

Johnson has spells where he looks up to the challenge but any notion that we bought in a ready made top flight fullback have not been proven thus far. I hope he comes good and he might do. Confidence is a big influence on a lot of individual's performances this season.

The synagogue is definitely worth a visit as are the memorials to the Jews that have suffered over the centuries in Hungary.

Pest is pretty vibrant and the covered gothic market is a must in my opinion. As other have said, Fisherman's Bastille and an evening boat trip are worth doing too.
