the last time I watched Shrewsbury their team encountered a lot of abuse from a bloke in his 40s surrounded by his mates and kids. It was everything really, called them the harlem globetrotters, presumably because they had a large number of black players. Must be on their period when any of them appealed and plenty of other gems. I considered reporting to a steward but they were right next to them and seemed to know them. |

This is far better than the usual suspects who flock around lower league clubs, recruiting their henchmen, obtaining players they know and scuffling about. He has a sound footballing background, will bring in expertise and hopefully contacts in the North west for players and loans. Cant see him having problems with players or staff at Town. |

The last match I attended was against Shrewsbury whenever it was. There was a bloke about 40 surrounded by his mates and his kids. When Shrewsbury came onto the pitch he was off, calling them the harlem globetrotters, suggesting they had large appendages and ridiculing them for being on their period among a string of gems. I thought what should I do but being nearly 70 do I want to draw attention to myself, then noticed the female steward was right next to him, her only job seemed to be to get a good view of the match |

the implication is that they have not developed or the teams have not been prepared to match the structure of the first team. I suspect a huge restructuring of backroom staff in the close season. It also suggests there are distinct factions in the club. |

The atmosphere around the club has become poisonous. The players are aware of the animosity towards them, they know they will be looking for jobs, possibly outside football, which is all they have known. Of course they are under pressure, just like anyone else who is in danger of losing their job. They were still in contention for a play off place 12 matches ago, wonder whats happened since then? |

caretaker manager rarely works out. Incoming manager sees them as threat, very few go on to manage. The best thing for anyone wanting to get into management is to go somewhere else first. |

Absolutely right. I worked for similar characters back in the 90s and they have absolutely no self awareness. As long as they are fine then the world is. |

think that ship has long sailed. Supermarkets, social media companies know more about me than I can remember. Seriously, I think its a shoo in if you want to go in a pub or travel anywhere, have a job etc. It will also be sold as a hindrance to benefit fraud and immigration and outsourced just like test and trace. |
