I’d like to see Burgess stay as he’s been a mainstay of our defence in the more successful campaigns and I’m sure he’d do a job in the Championship. That said, I imagine a decent contract in the weather in Girona and playing Madrid and Barcelona can’t be ignored. Additionally, we bought Greaves on the back of an impressive season in the Championship and I’m sure if he plays week in week out next season (assuming Wolves don’t implode whilst we pull off a miracle) then he’ll be a standout player for us, and eyeing a return to the Premier League come next May, or earlier in the season hopefully. |

A very good, confidence boosting point away from home. Recognising that Wolves and Everton have yet to play, I’d have taken 4th bottom after 4 games at the start of the season. And, I’d take it again at the end of the season, although I hope (and am quietly optimistic that) we’ll be higher up the table! |

You’ve got to be kidding me! Paid £1k on flights & hotel in the understandable expectation we’d be seeing the first team with new signings and we get to watch the U21’s with the two ‘senior’ players likely to be going out on loan within the next fortnight. Was p*ssed off with the shabby way was dealt with having had tickets in D Block for donkeys years and todays another kick in the nuts. |
