Keane: Don\'t Boo The Youngsters

I agree with the manager,here is a young lad,learning his trade,and without doubt for me has been player of the season,making a couple of mistakes which given the extreme pressure the team is under to perfom, was excusable,and may i remind you that he has indeed contributed with 5 goals for us which is more than some of the more senior players,ie. norris,garvin,leadbitter,edwards etc, i have watched many game this season and of all the players including leadbitter,colback always gives 100percent. how can we expect youngsters to want to come out and play week after week, when a minority of you want to shatter their confidence,get behind the team and support our club.

Colback Pleased to Be Staying at Town

colback has been a breath of fresh air at this club, the manager plays him out of position recently,yet he gets on with it and has not whinged or moaned like half of the team would, and actually i think he did well up until keane changed things around after half time, im sure colback would love to play back at his favoured cm position, but he is doing all thats asked of him,which to me is the sign of a good footballer, with the right attitude.
