She hasn’t bottled it at all. It’s a master stroke. Her strategy all the way along has been to get the arch Brexiteers to own the chaos and it’s working. I didn’t think she had this level of chicanery in her but she’s proving me wrong at every twist and turn.
I remember writing to the club as a teenager with three suggestions: Richard Peacock of Boston United Gareth Ainsworth and Darren Huckerby of Lincoln City. I think you’ve wildly over estimated there. I voted remain after concluding that there were probably fewer than 1000 people in the country with any detailed knowledge of what it meant for Britain. They would probably mostly be academics without a significant public voice. The turkeys really did vote for Christmas
