I'm not sure why I'm bothering with this, but...
MLS is impossible to compare to any other league in the world because it operates under a different set of rules. Central controls ensure that all teams are as closely matched as possible. Last year 12 of 15 teams finished within 10 points of the regular season champion.
That said, those that have played in the Championship and MLS often suggest that the two leagues are about the same in quality. One of your own — Jason deVos -- comments on MLS in Canada now and he's suggested that the best MLS teams would finish about mid-table in the CCC.
But, by all means, stick with your superior attitude. Whatever gets you to sleep at night.
