I doubt Zoff, Buffon or Peter Schmeichel went all game without ever uttering a word of comunication with the rest of their teams

our defence was disjointed anyway but he increased the chaos, and nervous players who've lost confidence in their keeper are always going to become even more error prone.

Ali is still carrying his chronic injury and playing through the pain barier so probably not good for more than about 20 minutes though.Would be crazy to start him unless no other option at all

true but in the prem there have also been regular long breaks for the internationals in this half of the season, so some longer recovery time was built in for a lot of of our players
