@Bagnor31 not sure what games you have seen to make such comment about Edwards... I know he's not a RB but surely after 2 years playing there he would of learnt where he's suppose to be playing and not get lost and out of position all the time, as for saying about Cresswell he's the leakiest defender we have and can't stop crosses, are you sure your not getting Edwards and Cresswell muddled up? I think you'll find Mogga worked out he was our weakest link in the back 4 and kept attacking down the right!! And in recent games Edwards has counted himself lucky that Tommy Smith has been in form to come across and cover him. I'm a season ticket holder in lower right hand side of Sir Bobby Robson Stand and see his dross week in week out!! |

Well said Gilesy... finally someone with a bit of common sense and is in the real world.
As much as i would like the club to be in Category 1 status I fully back the decision to apply for Category 2. I think we will still have a good youth set up as we have a good record of bringing good quality youth players through the system and don't think much will change in that respect and players that come through our system will have a more realistic chance of getting first team football unlike a lot of other clubs. |

Some of the comments on here are pretty comical really. You seem to want to play ALB whom we have lost 6 games this season with whilst he was in goal compared to McCarthy whom when he was in goal this season we lost only 3 times and 2 of those were in his first 3 games, so a big improvement on what we have had in goal so far this season. As for signing Stockdale... no thanks we lost 9 games whilst he was in. I know who I'd prefer in goal out of those 3 and don't forget McCarthy is only 22yrs old. |

Once again Edwards was at fault and found wandering!! And so many of you want him as your player of the season, I wonder how many goals have we conceded from poor defending from the RB position.. and yes I know he is been playing out of position but after 2 yrs and by now he should know not to get caught wandering!!! PJ sign a decent RB please!! |

No thanks Portsmouth... why should my hard earned money go to a club that has just recently come out of administration and is reported to be paying a player approx £30,000 per week. I have sympathy for clubs like Brighton, Plymouth, Port Vale and Darlington and would gladly give money to there course, but not Portsmouth.
