I wish more of the fans would back the team. I was proud of the fans last night applauding the team off and they deserved it if not the scoreline. The fans who all booed and left when the goal went in... What does that achieve? Apart from lowering confidence? The players know when they perform well or not because it's reflected in the league position, it's reflected in the changing room, in the team selection, in the wages/contract renewal negotiations. As fans, booing our own team does nothing but provide fuel for media and opposition fans to create further low confidence. Get behind the team, we're fans and supporters, we're part of the club as much as anyone so we need to be part if the team spirit! The cliched 12th man. COYB!!
