In Mcgiltons final season we finished 8th in the championship I think we have only bettered this once , getting in the playoffs under Mick McCarthy on the back off 20+ goals from D Murphy |

Goes back well before Lambert this squad has got progressively worse almost every season ,apart from possibly one or two, ever since Marcus Evans became the owner |

Neither of them good players probably worst set of strikers this club has had for many years how we paid over £1.5 millions for Jackson’s was daylight robbery |

Both Lambert and Cook inherited a very poor squad of players so without a series investment from the owner for new players this club will not progress the only good season we have had in the last 10-12 years was when Murphy scored 20 plus goals so priority must be given to getting 1 or 2 good strikers who individually or jointly can get 20+ goals because our current set of strikers will never achieve that |
