Yep another old git remembering going into churchman’s in the 70s with a crate to upturn and stand on up against the corrugated fencing to the side where the new big screen is now. Liverpool was always a big game normally towards the top of the league. In the ground at 1 when the gates open and one Liverpool game in particular gates were closed at 1.30.

My wife is a West Ham fan so obviously pick up a lot of fan views on them also. He is a good player and not used enough by moyes but always seemed to impress when he was used. I think that £20k might be his current salary. He was offered a new contract at a significantly increased salary but that was still not enough. From general comments he sees his worth well above £50k per week which I am guessing would be well outside our wage structure. That and his lack of playing time is why he is moving on |

I didn’t receive an email yesterday but have received one today. It’s come a bit out of the blue. It doesn’t tell me a lot other than I’m going to lose what I assume is a large chunk of the leg room which the seats have had up until now. As an older and large person (probably as a result of too many match day pies over the years) I got the premium seat in block X 6 years ago because of the extra leg room. A padded seat, free programme and hot drink, whilst nice, I wouldn’t think is a main motivation for most people having these seats but extra room definitely is. Whether the extra cost of the seat is now worth it I don’t know. I’ve been lucky enough that I have been able to pay a bit extra before for the extra room but now I’m retired and with the main benefit taken away I don’t know what I’ll do - probably nothing given that there is likely no choice available for people having seats in block X already. |

It’s not just this season. I’ve said when watching for years that he was always negative against us. Andy Hinchcliffe is a bit better but also has a bit of a downer on us. It is clear every time that DG has no idea what is going on with our club let alone what he is watching in front of him. His background knowledge about the club is poor and it’s not a surprise that he comes across as a tw@t. At least he won’t be commentating on our games next season |

Happened to look across towards the benches during the minute’s silence yesterday and noticed she was sat looking towards her light and camera. Doesn’t take anything to look towards the pitch as everyone else was. That time means so much to so many people and well respected at FPR as always but she was out of order for me. |

Wasn't able to go tomorrow but I need to go and pick up some machinery in Bristol tomorrow. Tickets not on sale on the club site but does anyone know if there were any left or whether it is possible to pay on the gate tomorrow? I will try and call the ticket office in the morning but if anyone knows would appreciate responses. |

Part of the exit from the Sir Alf stand was cordoned off as the full time whistle went. Police van there at the gates and paramedics bringing a stretcher to someone injured on the floor. I assumed someone had got battered with all those Cambridge fans leaving early. They really thought they were going to come and stifle us like last year and seemed pretty pi**ed when we got around their parked bus! |

For many years have been using the Green Parking car park in Grafton Way. Just seen that it has closed. It’s always been useful for a quick get away via the docks back to the A14 for my 2 hour drive back to Lincolnshire, so on the hunt for somewhere new to park. Any suggestions for the new season? |
