Sometimes, it doesn't feel like everyone is disappointed. Insults still not ok even if someone is somehow happy with today's result. |

It is not the only metric, but I think it would be a good start to look at the teams that have scored the lowest points throughout the years and see how they were doing at this point in the season. |

Agreed Kompany's fame has helped him out, but McKenna is not unknown to say, Man Utd, Chelsea, or Brighton where he was considering his options at the beginning of the season. He will not struggle for a move considering they wanted him on the back of L1/ Championship promotions. [Post edited 1 Feb 18:50]

My two cents. I mostly agree with OP. The manager has always talked about togetherness and running towards adversity, being brave etc. First thing he does when we go up is talk to Man Utd, Brighton and Chelsea about a move. Ok not to blame him for that, but that does not match up with the culture you have established at the club. Secondly, the players that did stand together, and did all the hard work of getting us here, the ones who clearly had high morale and a good level of comraderie, saw that too. And then they got phased out. Now we have a team that is trying to gel itself together and we have lost everything we had when we went up. |

Excusing the team and insulting people who are understandably disappointed in today's result. It's ok to be worried when we have given one of the worst teams in PL history 4 of their 9 points in 24 games. It's okay to share that concern. It's fine to disagree and think that we will be in a champions league spot by the end of the season (rather you than me on that one). But please stop the insults or calling it negativity when there are no excuses for today. |

Just want to add something to this for the people who think this isn't from instruction. Cast your mind back to Hull away in which the goalkeeper and Morsy did this exact thing. Why do you think teams press us they way they do? They've done their research and can see that a) we do it often and b) other teams get goals from it. |

Honestly those decisions were awful, idk how people are defending them. I agree with getting behind him and hopefully he will learn he can't play like that, but I've seen him do this during the friendlies and now here and it's becoming an issue for me. It's not the playing it out the back, it's the positioning of Muric. |

Imo this is part and parcel of having such an open and free forum. I have never used the block functions here and frankly only really lurk, but maybe you can remind people that others can be blocked if they do not like what they say? Maybe make it so their posts cannot be seen once blocked? |

Expressing anger and talking about issues at hand tend to help people. Regardless of there being any truth in the papers, they are reporting what they are reporting. If this news is true, it will go against him "keeping everyone together" and "everyone pulling in the right direction." You can maybe understand why people might be upset. You can see why they may want to discuss it. You can maybe see that football is an extremely passionate subject for many, hence some of the responses. Don't get me wrong, I don't think people should be saying anything horrible, but just as you probably believe the manager owes as nothing and he can do as he pleases regardless of acheivement, that is a two way street. |
