Terry butcher would be a dream manager. I would even quite like terry o'connor to stay on, cant imagine he would be keen to join the irleland set up!?
Lost my faith with mick now, he obviously would prefer to be with Ireland. He has made that very obvious. And a manager that doesnt want to be here as his first choice, I dont want to be here either. I was a massive fan when his cut throat, to the point attidutde was bringing as away from the relegation zone, and will always respect him for that. However, his style of football, in my opinion is never going to help us progress into a top championship team. We need someone who will expereiment with formations, not be so rigid, and have a winning mentality, not a menatality of 'not loosing'.
Our back line is sorted, and very strong. New manger who likes a bit of creativity and proper football then we'd be onto a winner. Would much prefer to be midtable playing good football (or trying too), than midtable playing hoofball. |

Personally I think Micks in-desicon about the Ireland Job is showing a certain amount if disrespect for Town fans. Also, how are the players expected to perfrom confidently when they're managing is quite literally, hmming and harring over the possibility of leaving? I like to think he will have reassured the players one way or another over his intentions, although it is looking increasingly likely that he would very much like to be offered the ireland job.
He has given us solid defenders which we have lacked before his arrival, for that we will always be grateful, but if a manager could come in and add a bit of flair and creativity to the defenders and hardworkers we've already got, surely that would be better than now. |

Karlos- agree completely, although i would currently not put martin in the starting 11, last year he showed he had some very beneficial qualities. This season they have not been displayed as much...glad he has been offered a new contract, not worth the reported £13,000 a week mind, and hope he stays because i believe he could play some part in a promotion push..strenght in depth is everything. |
