Err, what exactly is happening to my club, here? ME - it is just as much my club as yours, I just do not have as much in the bank. I am still, as I always will be, a loyal supporter in my own way. Bet I've been to more games than you. Born in '65 and supporter since '73. Went to Cup final in '78 and Uefa in '82. now live in Peterborough and work late into the evening so options to get to games are limited BUT: still managed to get to the CC ties vs Northampton and West Brom. Travelled through sheeting rain for the first, and snow for the second. Didn't see you there for either. What a suprise. Keane appointed (and I was not amused at the time - what a stupid appointment Attlia the Hun had more man management skills, whatever possessed you?) and now sacked (and yet I am not amused now - got to stick with him to the end of his contract - surely sacking him early is an admission of failure on YOUR behalf?) McParland who was a reasonable manager at Notts Cty says he will leave when someone else is appointed. That's fairly indicative? He's obviously peed off. Yet to say the players were suprised at Keanes sacking surely means a complete lack of intelligence/competence on behalf of McParland and the (relevant) players. This leads me onto the following: Give ME his due, he's tried to sort it out - but clearly the finances don't add up. Talk to Alan Sugar (Sir) and he will tell you that it's all about player power and agent power and clubs are held to ransom. Football is a mugs game. Average idiots earn more in a year than I'll ever earn in a lifetime. Mr Evans, where are we going? |
