McKenna: Howe Has Built a Top, Top Newcastle Team
at 22:50:29

Leejames99, what planet are you on to suggest McK should have been sacked or that Town are set to release most of their signings and revert to a bargain basement but plucky squad assembled in Lg1 and the Championship? You are totally deluded if you think Town will emulate Luton, and can't have bothered to read or assimilate the consistent message from Mark Ashton/the owners and Kieran about the plans and aspirations for our club. You do waste a lot of our time wading through your drivel. I wasn't aware I could block you. Thanks, that must be the only useful thing you've ever contributed. I will give that a go right now!

McKenna: Palace Are a Strong Side But We Go There With Confidence
at 14:10:32

I'm cautiously optimistic if Omari and Enciso are back tomorrow. I think they could have won us the game on Monday and with them and Delap on the pitch, and Palmer in goal, I don't write Town off as many on here are doing. I am sure the players will go there believing and giving 100%, so let's get behind them and the manager.

Nottingham Forest 1-1 (AET, 5-4 on Pens) Ipswich Town
at 22:50:27

Unlucky boys. Great effort. No luck again. Came out just the wrong side of a fine margin again. Hope they take confidence from this into the league. No shame in the result tonight, was a lottery at the end and Town were close to a win against a strong Forest team at their place. We were missing key players in Omari and Enciso who could have made the difference. We're all gutted to lose like that, but back the boys and be proud of them tonight. A penalty save the other way and we'd all be in seventh heaven.

McKenna: A Really Poor Result For Us, a Game That Was There For Us to Win
at 20:37:35

Some of you so called fans need to get a grip. We are very lucky to have Kieran and he has got us from mid table league 1 to the Prem in 2 seasons! How can some of you accuse him of coming up short or not being good enough! Also, the owners are pumping huge amounts of money into improving the squad, facilities and to try to keep us up. Fans need to get behind the team, on bad days, not just good ones. Yes, it was gut wrenching to lose today. But Town were the better team and deserved 3 points. That's football.

Ipswich Town 1-2 Southampton - Match Report
at 17:23:36

Town deserved to win. More threatening, more quality, more attacks but poor finishing. Southampton had all the luck, Town had none. Town should have been out of sight instead of relying on Muric who has zero confidence.

McKenna: Muric is An Extremely Talented Keeper But He's Young and Settling Into the Club
at 18:10:31

Muric is 3rd in the table for number of saves by keepers in the prem so far. He deserves a lot of credit. He's improving and has the potential to keep town in the prem. Burnley fans said they would have stayed up if they had him for the season, not just the last 10 games. Anyone who thinks Walton who warmed the bench all last season can just come in and do better at a time when we're fighting for points is unrealistic.

McKenna: A Devastated Dressing Room
at 19:35:06

Some of you negative doom merchants need a reality check. At 87 mins Town were winning, and were robbed of a 2 goal cushion. The players worked their socks off and were knackered at the end. Bournemouth had quality subs to help them nick it at the death. That's no reason for some of the so called Town fans to throw a tantrum and get their knives out. Most of you seem to think you know better than our manager. Go back to your armchairs and support the team up the road.

McKenna: Bournemouth Approach Could See Open Game
at 19:58:29

BrockleyBlue78 Davis isn't being dropped. Just not mentioned above.
dirtydingusmagee so negative even before a ball is kicked. You just read how Kieran is asking for the fans to get behind the team as they work their socks off to try to get something out of the game. If Southampton beat Bournemouth, why do you write Town off? If we can beat Tottenham away, against the odds, we have a chance on Sunday, surely. COYB!! Prove the doubters wrong!

McKenna: We Certainly Could Have Won It
at 22:19:51

Poet, what game were you watching? Delap had a great game and had the highest rating of both teams according to the BBC poll. To suggest he had a bad day, when Onana made two amazing/lucky blocks is a disservice to both players. You don't know what you are talking about and I hope Delap doesn't read your drivel.

For what it’s worth, Ipswich are about 20 times better than Leicester.

We’re getting absolutely shagged but they’re cracking to watch

Thought Leicester would be Decent to watch come start of season but Ipswich have been fantastic there a team that's for certain Ipswich more entertaining than Leicester who have come down.

Blues' Promotion Hopes Boosted Further After Owls Draw
at 23:03:12

Hugely impressive run for 6 or 7 games and some indifferent results for the rest of the top 4 have put Town well in contention if they can keep the winning mentality going. They certainly have the quality and confidence. Come on Town, you've had your blip and its time to capitalise on the points dropped around you. So close!

Moore: Chance to Go 3-0 Up Was Turning Point

I think the missed penalty and the lack of the red card was a lucky escape for them and the important turning point. Sounds like there will be a retrospective ban for their dirty player.

Burnley 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 23:14:06

This from a Burnley fan on Facebook backed up by what Kompany had to say after the match. I don't understand the Town fans who are moaning and criticising tonight's performance.

Wow.
What an amazing football team. As a Burnley fan who has been to most of the home games and some of the away games u have been the most challenging team so.far this season. You definitely make a top 5 championship team!. Amazing!

Burnley 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report
at 22:33:20

How can people complain after Town came close to being the only side to beat Burnley at their place all season - no championship side has managed that. Fans should be full of pride for the performance showing that they're a force for that league. Just need to beat the ugly teams in Lg1 that stop us playing the quality football we're capable of.

McKenna: Fleetwood Goal Unfortunate and Undeserved For the Efforts the Players Put In
at 22:37:26

Reality check people. Town are second just a point off top and we're nearly midway through the season. So many negative people and drama queens on here. This is the best set of results we've had for 10 years and KM deserves huge credit. Temper your disappointment from one result, not even a loss, and enjoy the fact Town are very much on the right track for promotion.
