Perhaps the delay in signing new players is because we haven't been able to move on some others in order to make room for them in the 25 man squad. |

Napoli don't seem to want Caljuste and appear to be offering to multiple clubs, If Besiktas want him they will pay about £7.5 million with loan fee and final purchase. Why can't we offer Napoli the same amount for a straight sale with no add ons or release clause so he is off their books? Caljuste could be offered a 3 year contract which will give him security, Also we wouldn't have the same will he, won't he sign again situation next year if it was a loan deal. |

With all our parachute money why don't we sell him to ourselves for 30 million, no actual outlay of money, give him a big new contract and then sell him on with no release clause? not sure if this is possible or legal with FFP! |

Muric is very quiet on the field. Perhaps he is not confident with his spoken English.
Whilst out injured would some English lessons during his rehab give him the confidence to be louder and more assertive with his defenders in his penalty area? |

It now looks certain we are down. The money gulf between the 17 teams who stay there and promoted teams is too big. Hence with several seasons money and team building they can afford quality which promoted teams cannot. .If we get promoted next year could we just say 'Yes please' to the premiership money but ask to stay in the championship where we could build a really good team and once again enjoy watching loads of wins again! |

Someone said an England cap would perhaps add to his sell on price. However is one of the addons in his price from Man City an extra fee for us to pay if he gets a senior cap? Would it be better from our point of view if, as is likely, we sell him, before this happens? |

If after the games with Bournemouth and Wolves we are so far behind that there is little chance of staying up, why not try some of the ideas put forward on here in recent weeks. Move Davis forward and bring Townsend in, Try Hirst and Delap together.Play Clarke, Philogene and Hutchinson in their favoured positions. Keep the same back four for a few games - perhaps give Slicker a chance in goal. If this is perhaps too soon to try this, then wait until we have played the next 3 very hard matches after Wolves before letting the reins loose! |

Surely players terms, salary and add ons etc would all be sorted before medicals - not afterwards! Also comment from Emery was interesting, Especially the last line.

Hirst will get a chance soon as Delap is already on 4 bookings - so level with Morsey! How many were for dissent - there was another one in the England under 21 game. |
