To the boss
I have been a long life supporter of Ipswich town since 1975
What you have achieved in such a short space of time with the board and the new owners has been absolutely remarkable/outstanding/on the verge of a miracle….. sending in the fan base into a crescendo of joy.
There are not words in the English dictionary to say thank you enough from all the supporters.
We always knew that this year would be tough, but we believe in you and the players and we will be right behind you , happy shopping in January window, we know that you will find a hidden gem somewhere.
Whatever happens this season, we will all be there roaring you and the team along.
May I take this opportunity to wish you a Merry Christmas and all the staff at Ipswich town and all the fans and everybody on this board?!
I’ve already had my Christmas present this year… it’s being a very happy Ipswich town supporter! |

In Australia on holiday of a life time, we booked this trip before McKenna became manger !
Wife and I are Season ticket holders, we only miss one league game in four weeks away ( because of FA cup ).
Up early followed match on my phone then at breakfast too (Tuesday morning here) absolutely ecstatic when my phone alerted a 1-1 situation … especial as we were sharing a table with a Australia Leicester supporter… made my day ! …. Well done boys …
I want to shout out and say to our special supporters at the game today, Monday night game your are true blues and kept singing and kept the boys going right up till whistle…hat off to you all !
“ We are Ipswich town, blue blood flows in our veins… we Never give give up, we never give in !! … We are Ipswich town the best football team, with the most unique supporters this country has ever seen!!! “

What a win ! … Sunderland tip to be in top 3, our first game away, first game back in the championship, nervy start, dug in hard, first 20 minutes didn’t give in, boys stuck together, kept playing their game, and then they steadied theirselves … well done boys!
I’m still coming down off the ceiling ! The commentator kept saying we were on the back foot first 20 mins, nearly thew Tv out the window … when we scored I was jumping around my dogs going mad my wife shouting I was shouting “ who on the back foot now “ …. Two whiskeys at half time to calm the nerves, half time second half to 75 min was our boys best part of the match …
The 75 -124 mins what can I say felt like whole season!!! … when the whistle went … jump out the chair fist punched the air… smashed living room lights, wife’s going bandannas at me … … what great start …. Still coming down earth my heart rate still high!

2) Never disagree with the wife to risky
3) Never lived outside Suffolk to risky
4) Never invested outside the national banks to risky
5) Never taken ownership of an action in all their lives, wait for other to take, then criticise !
