Apparently, Gill and Walker were at odds with Lambert and Taylor for a while now. Probably to do with the Henry fall out. It's worth remembering, Gill has a big reputation in the game, and was very highly regarded up the road. They were spitting when we got him!! With Cook's usual assistants making there own way in the game it's highly unlikely they will join him so I'm sure he's open to working with Gill. He will surely know about his reputation and could form a formidable alliance. If or when Cook is announced, it's worth noting, he plays 4231, so it's likely we will see us in that shape again. If played the right way it's never 1 up front, so hopefully he can get us playing the right way. |

I know footballers have a label about not being the sharpest tools in the box, but I'd assume there being 22 players on the coach, and the fact that only 18 are allowed in the match day squad, there must be an acceptance that you might not be involved? So imagine that every week players had that same response. This coming from a player that got a 3 match ban not so long ago for a ridiculous red card. I'm not condoning what Lambert is doing, but my want for him to be gone will not blind me to the other factors at play regards to having sympathy for players that have let us down. Players play for the club and the fans before any manager, despite who the manager is. They have let us down that's a fact in its own right. |

Someone who highlights PROFESSIONAL in capitals on a Twitter rant, is a contradiction in terms. As someone who has spent hours researching statement analysis immediately identified a distinct lack of denial. Making a broad statement, when the words “this is not true” or “this did not happen” are the only responses necessary, is a red flag for deception. If you are accused of something you have not done, you deny it first! If you say for example “there was no evidence” or I was found “not guilty” you assert that you did it but the accuser failed to prove it. |

If he goes to Brentford, he doesn't get in their team, he will get loaned out. They will be acquiring the potential. I love to see academy products in our team like the next person, but all at once does not work as we've seen. His route into the first team here or there needs to be done in steps, same as Dobra. Unpopular opinion, but that's facts, else you would see every team just playing their youngsters job lot. |

Arnie- Absent context of issues requiring surgery, the time span said operations are over, The recovery etc, I do not see it's anyones place to assume what impact the distance will have on the family. Only Judge knows and is right to keep it private. I think it's more pertinent to trust his assessment on that.

4231 formation for me tomorrow, if they play their usual 352. 442 just simply plays into their hands. I know that we are ‘the better team' and I'm an advocate of ‘let them worry about us' but giving them an extra man in midfield all but nullifies our advantage. 4231 also is not (if played correctly) playing one up front as Norwood should always have people around him and the wide forwards also stretch the 3 CBs creating channels to exploit. |

Credit to Flynn for first taking that step to talk then, the hardest step of all, and now for sharing. These footballers are role models after all and it will inspire others to do likewise. I said the first time I see Flynn that he's the most talented academy product I'd seen since Keiron Dyer, I'm still convinced of that to this day. What a player he can be! Also I want to take this time to throw serious praise at Skuse, he has been immense so far this season. And quite a pair they make. No better partnership in the division. |

Nothing to worry about I expect. I believe I've read somewhere that medicals have been made more stringent and include heart monitoring over a 24 hour period, something like that anyway. But basically it's standard practice these days. |

TimmyH I'm sure there is plenty of work going on there behind the scenes, although the defence appears to be the main area to strengthen, this doesn't mean that a striker and GK were not also needed, just happens to be that it's sorted first. Also the free'd up wage from Bart might now mean we've more leverage for a defender or two and as a result things might now progress. |
