This post is Phil approved. The TL:DR is that I lost my job just after Thanksgiving, and I decided to indulge my passion for coffee to try and not be homeless. So, two Ipswich-themed coffees (one single-origin, Bali True Blue, and one a single-origin that's different each month). It is important to add that since I labeled the Bali coffee, we are unbeaten in the PL. So.....
Introducing SimonSays.coffee (I'm Simon btw. You can read about me on the bio of the site if you don't know me; some of you do). The coffee is only roasted once an order is placed, so anyone ordering it should receive it at peak freshness - shipping is only to the US, partly coz there's already a great coffee for a great cause for UK ITFC fans, but also shipping coffee internationally just isn't worth it. Artwork by Glory Days Artwork is on both coffees, a subtle difference between the two designs. I'll be donating 10% of net proceeds to the ITFC Foundation.

Yeah, that moment when Omari failed to pass it on to burns kinda summed up the forward decision making a little. Such a shame he didn’t score that goal, was a beauty of an attempt.

The competition in midfield now is a delight, Cajuste looks like a thoroughbred when he glides forward with the ball. Such a strong, reassuring, performance all round today. A late winner would have been thoroughly deserved. |

Yep, exactly this. In some down ticket elections in the past 18mths, DEMS have outperformed polling in some cases as much as 40pts, the polling has been ghastly. Striking down ROE has galvanized a lot of people, women mostly.
Also worth adding here for those claiming Harris isn’t popular, she’s absolutely smashed the single day record for fundraising for Dems. Far from over. I’ll be voting for her for sure. |

I think this is largely untrue, and I’m not saying this is what you’re doing, but it’s a narrative spun bt both doomsayers and some on the far right to stop democrats from voting by making them feel like there’s no point.
Let’s boil this down a little to what the reality is. Can he win? Yes, certainly. Will he? Probably not.
Without making this really long, look at the downticket elections that have been occurring periodically since Roe v Wade was overturned. As a result of that, democrats on avg have been massively overperforming projections in almost every race. That one demographic, women, are galvanised and organised like no election cycle.
Another point worth mentioning here, Trump has largely underperformed Biden when it comes to fundraising, and when Trump is raising money, it’s going to his significant legal bills - I forget the exact stat, but as a result of this, the Biden campaign has built a formidable field office army, and Trump has almost nothing on that front - if you think this, right here, is insignificant then I have an oceanfront property for you in Kansas.
The repubs internal polling is forecasting a 7-8% drop off if he’s convicted, they can’t afford any drop off, the Trump base isn’t growing, it’s barely clinging to life, it’s just extraordinarily vocal and the media gives an absurd amount of coverage to Trump.
Essentially, you can boil this down to this. If the democrats can stay focused, if they can turn out the vote like before, then they win this. |
