d77sgw - I forgot all about Crowe! He was once linked with Arsenal, United and others. I really thought Baggott would be our best academy output for years but injuries have really hampered him sadly. So pleased he’s back fit and playing well |

9 points from the last 8 games. That really is unforgivable. Some games we blow the opposition away, but most teams have figured us out now. So slow, predictable and one dimensional, no urgency whatsoever. I love McKenna, but went does he start taking responsibility for some of these poor results? Something needs to change (but not the manager!) |

Brilliant news. I hope they have a great trip and witness 3 points. I was there in Meppen which only seems like yesterday. Watching the England v New Zealand cricket final on the train back to Dortmund at least meant we had something to celebrate! |

I won't sleep well tonight… through excitement! What a statement signing. Good times ahead Town fans |
 | News Comment | Luongo Set to Rejoin Town at 18:13:09
Great news. A shrewd signing. Hopefully this means we can pull the plug on Taylor (to avoid being mugged off by posh again!) and put the funds towards Broadhead and/or Whittaker instead. |
 | News Comment | Wycombe Wanderers 1-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:15:44
One of the most frustrating games I've ever watched. If teams sit deep with every player behind the ball we are so inept. A truly embarrassing goal to concede - not “a moment of brilliance” at all, watch the goal back (if you dare) and see where their player got the ball. ‘Injury time' of 2 mins first half and 5 mins second half was laughable. Everyone will be p*ssed off tonight and rightly so. On the bright side Wednesday failed to win, we are 2nd at Christmas, will strengthen in January, and… we've got super Kieran McKenna! The future is bright regardless of todays result. Merry Christmas Town fans. |

I agree he was a real handful in the recent game v Burton. At 21 years old, and presumably a low-ish fee, this could be an excellent signing! |
 | News Comment | Cook: At All My Clubs Apart From Ipswich I Felt I Was in Control of My Own Destiny at 13:58:33
I never liked him from day 1. Now beginning to dislike him quite a lot. Cook was given the squad overhaul and new players he wanted. Cook brought the backroom staff he wanted (bar Richardson who now appears to be the brains). Cook failed. I certainly don't miss him saying he's best mates with pretty much every manager in the league either. Yes the football was entertaining, but there are a lot of attacking minded managers out there, some who can even train a team to hold a lead, hopefully we have one now. We are in much better hands with McKenna guys. |
 | News Comment | Town Confirm Cook Appointment at 12:25:52
This is excellent news, a really exciting appointment! A much more impressive, consistent CV than Lambert & Hurst. Promotions and cup runs with his last 3 clubs! The only slight worry should be that his previous backroom staff members are now with other clubs - look how Lambert has struggled without Culverhouse. Hey maybe I've just become a pessimist over these last few years! COYB. Let's get the club moving upwards! |
 | News Comment | Peterborough United 2-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 21:18:18
Baffling team selection and tactics. The decision to recall Chambers and Ward worked - both were SHOCKING all game. Surely Lambert could see how exposed and useless on the ball they were? We still had 2 subs left so could've replaced them at any point. Go a goal up and then our back 4 retreat as far as the edge of our box. I'm just so confused by the whole game plan, if there even was one. #LambertOut |
 | News Comment | Crewe Alexandra 1-1 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:10:32
Pleased I saved myself a tenner today. Last 11 games. 3-2-6. 8 goals scored. 15 conceded. 2 of those wins were by 1 goal against bottom of the table Burton. The other was a 2-1 win at Plymouth - both goals scored when they were down to 10 men. Those statistics are EMBARRASSING - this is LEAGUE ONE. With good reason, we are the laughing stock of English football. It's heartbreaking to say, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who hoped for a Crewe victory today - a draw might just keep his job safe for a little while longer. We could've changed manager weeks ago, given the new man time to assess the squad and make a couple of new additions. If we're at the maximum numbers of players over the age of 21 why not pay off a couple to the end of the season and release them from their contracts? Don't £vans, O'Neill etc understand how much the club needed promotion this season? £vans has ZERO ambition and no idea how to run a football club. Everyone in power at the club is totally clueless. Get Cowley or Paul Cook in asap (which should've been weeks ago). If both are understandably uninterested then why not take a punt on Dyer. At least he's young, hungry and passionate about our club. PL couldn't care less and has had one good managerial spell in charge of the budgies which was masterminded by Culverhouse and Grant Holt! Take action tonight £vans. LAMBERT OUT. |
