I don't think Mr Evans wants to give Keane any more money, but doesn't want to sack him either. Just keep him happy till end of season so he doesn't have to pay him off. I think if we weren't still in the Carling cup Keane would've been gone by now but Mr Evans is letting him carry on, on the slim chance he gets us to Wembley. |

I've always backed Keane. I thought give him enough time and he'll sort it out and for a brief moment at the beginning of the season I thought he had got it right and we could put up a fight for a top two place. But we're the same if not worse than last year he's had time and money and he isn't taking us up the league. He needs to go now, but he won't be sacked because of his expensive contract, but he should do the decent thing and leave. I can't believe he'll be given any more money in January to spend, perhaps than he'll take the hint and walk away. |

I can't see us signing anyone until we've got rid of a least four players, and if we're going to sign a striker I think Pabs and Stead will need to go first. Marcus Evans won't want all them strikers getting paid to play in the reserves. |

At the moment there is still some competition in the championship at the top and bottom, this season we had Forrest who were fighting relegation for most of last season changeling for automatic promotion this season, that would never happen in the premiership.. The premiership has become boring with the same four teams winning everything generally. The premiership is in danger of people becoming more interested in the championship because theres more competion, so by increasing the parachute payments they are making a lot easier for clubs to go straight back up, and remove the competition and mack the championship as boring as the premiership. Clubs need to have clauses in players contracts so that they get paid less in the championship, and budget accordingly. |

What do you Keane haters think will happen if he goes (which I doubt, and very much hope he doesn't)? That some magic man will come in and make everyone play better and we'll just jump up the table. Keane is building a team and yes it isn't going great but I don't believe there is anyone who will come here and can do a better job.
Who is going to take the job? Burley? When things were going bad before getting relegated from Premiership and starting badly in the Championship he had no idea how to pull us out of it.
Keane is the man who can do this, him more than anyone wants this club to be successful, if he fails here he'll have no chance of another job anywhere. He needs this more than we do. |

Couldn't agree more. Keane has come in and his building his team from the ground up, it would've been great if he got it right straight away but it's not the end of the world that he hasn't. In the last two games there has been some real improvement and things can only get better, a lot better. I still believe that Keane will get us promoted in the end, and in doing so he would've built a quality team that won't need to be rebuilt as soon as we're in the premier league. I'm still looking forward to every game believing it'll be the one were it all comes together and we absolutely spank some one, hopefully it'll be this Saturday evening. |
