Just been looking at the fixture lists for the three teams looking to get automatic promotion along with Leicester, including ourselves. Our ability to finish second is not over by a long way. Didn’t realise but Southampton have yet to play us, Leicester and Leeds all away between now and the end of the season, the Leeds game away being the final match of the season for them. I think with our new signings we still have a terrific chance of going up automatically,. COYB |

Nobody's mentioned Leam Richardson the other half of the Cook /Richardson partnership. Currently top of League 1 and for my money , the brains behind the duo. Knows most of the current squad. Might be worth a look at!! |

Not at all impressed with this new goalie and cannot understand why Mr Cook doesn't at least give Holy a run in the team. I think Holy would most certainly have saved the 1st goal and that the new man again was to blame for at least one of the goals on Tuesday night. I wonder if Paul Cook is regretting not making more of an effort to keep Downes, who displays just the right sort of midfield aggression that we are lacking at the moment.
Having said all that, very enjoyable game played by two good teams which was a credit to League 1 |
