Don't get to watch regularly due to being in Australia. But after seeing this game i was unsure what Mick sees in Murphy, offers little upfront. McGoldrick was great and has the creative flair we need. Wasn't impressed with the right flank at all, Edwards is well past his best and Hewitt doesn't seem ready to be starting week in week out. Some out and out wingers who can get forward with pace would benefit the side. A lot of positives to take from the performance though i thought we dominated the majority.

Ah, just had a look at a different thread and Mick said it wouldn't be a permanent deal. Not so sure about the loan but if he looks decent then the depth would be good for the promotion push!

If it is a permanent signing i think it's a good one. Adds depth to the squad and someone who has captained their country and played in a world cup adds good experience to the back line.
