Chepstowblue as a fellow resident of the fine town of Chepstow (thought it was just me!!) I had this game down as a banker, as my son plays on a Saturday morning there was plenty of time to pop down the M5 to get to the game. Sky's just well and truly screwed me over. Not happy.
And fair play to all those that travel down from Suffolk, my hat goes off to you, as it did to all those that joined me at Plymouth.

Why are we bothered about PL's ego here? If the kids had won and we were through its another game we don't need? Let's concentrate on the important things here, getting out of League 1.
I'm no PL fan but let's get a grip here folks. Playing the kids was the right thing to do in a competition which is pointless. |

I rarely post on this forum but having seen those 2 idiots posting earlier I have to respond.
I was at the game today with my 2 daughters, supporting the Ladies; I'm guessing Earman and Blueboy couldn't be bothered or are not old enough to drive.
They tried their hearts out against a team of seasoned professionals; they never gave up, their heads never went down, and they did our club proud. At the end many of them were in tears sharing hugs with their families and fans. Remember; these are part timers against internationals, many of them promising teenagers just beginning their journeys in the game.
Most importantly, my two daughters watched their efforts and they were inspired. The scoreline didn't matter; here was their Ladies team against one of the best in Europe, playing their socks off. Ultimately that to me is more important than any scoreline.
In a weekend when suicide and media bullying is in the headlines, these two would do well to grow up, and remember why we love this beautiful game; to inspire the next generations and do remarkable things. Our Ladies did that today just by getting here...

Has anyone pointed out to Peterborough that Moore wouldn't be able to play for them until next season under FIFA's 3 club rule? It's us or Rotherham. So why don't we stop faffing and accept the Rotherham bid or get him back in the fold. |

As an exiled blue in south Wales I watched Col U at Newport a couple of weeks ago. Dickenson looked ordinary, good turn of pace but poor distribution and no end product. We'd be better off going after Kurtis Guthrie, talented attacking midfielder who goes at defences... everything we don't have. Hands down the best player at Col U right now. Money well spent on the scouts clearly. |
