Electric cars

I have had a Tesla Model S for 5 years. When I got it I got free Super Charging on the Tesla network, which is great as its very cheap for me to run. If you use the sat nav it works out when you need to charge and warns you if you need to slow down and save the battery etc. Its quick! However, Tesla's service is rubbish. Build quality is not good enough for a £85k car. I had to have a new battery 6 months ago which was replaced under warrently and that failed a month later so they had to replace again. I would buy another electric car again over petrol but more and more brands are getting better so I would shop around and check out your options. See if you can have one overnight to do a long run.

VAT on Private School

Where we live all our secondary schools were not great. We sent our children to private school and it was a real struggle. I worked long hours and 7 days a week to do this. Adding VAT would have made it even harder. I know for some of the parents adding VAT would have a drop in the ocean but for others it will be the difference between sending them or not. The people that would suffer are probably those that work hard and are already paying a lot in tax. There are much better ways to increase tax income.

Heading to Dubai in a couple of weeks

We’re here at the moment. If you go yo the Burj Khalifa I would definitely pay the extra and go to levels152 - 154. Great views and a totally different experience.
