The under 21 team this year has been very poor, we still haven't one a game and things don't look like they are getting any better.
I am for ever reading about how we have a strong u 21 team out, so how are we still not picking up results. I hear there were a few good things about last night Doherty sounds like a good player, one player to keep an eye on.
But for the first team players who are playing in the "developing squad" they should be setting an example and working there bollocks of to show MM what they can offer, but it seems like when the so called "first team players play " they are playing worse than some of the younger players.
This shows me that Mark Kennedy has not got the players fighting enough, he should be telling the likes of Hewitt if you work hard enough you will get a chance with the first team, but instead the work rate of the first team players has been very poor. In my opinion Mark seems a little out of depth to be honest, is always great to see an old player come back and be part of the squad but it has to be benefiting us, and in this case I do not think it is.
