 | Forum Reply | Muric will be our No 1 by end of season... at 16:16 30 Jul 2025
According to an Ipswich Town fans forum which is very popular, Alex Palmer averaged 6.67 last season (the top of ANY Ipswich player) whereas Muric averaged 5.53 which was nearer the lower end of ratings. I don't feel the majority of Town fans are wrong in these ratings. Palmer gives the defence more confidence. |
 | Forum Thread | Concerning Financial date released today at 17:47 10 Jun 2025
A raft of financial data released today and it is concerning. According to the Guardian- Unemployment is up at the highest level for 4 years, Payroll numbers down 109,000 in 1 month. According to the BBC - Job vacancy numbers are now down to 736k, a decrease of 63k in one month and down from 1.3million in May 22. According to the Financial Times, Retail Sales Growth up 1% per annum which is lower than 2.5% in previous months earlier this year and with inflation at 3.4% this indicates a tightening of consumers budgets. Will be interesting to see the status as and when the Autumn Budger arrives. |

I have no idea re Rees Mogg thing. Appreciate you may be more interested in politics than myself. As per previous poster 'DJR' has indicated they felt it was an unfortunate tweet but felt it did not detract from the work, Hope not Hate have undertaken and I fully respect that opinion. I respect your opinion and would like to think you respect mine. Good Night |

Nothing strange, misinformation is never a good thing. For the last time I wish you well and look forward to seeing how the petition goes, it may well be very successful. |

I don't equate him(Nick) with any right wing fascists, merely that he has publicly stated a non truth that at the time was potentially extremely dangerous. If any other person, Left of Centre or Right of Centre, I would castigate them for stating an untruth into public domain. I wish you well and as stated previously, I am sure Hope not Hate will have provided valuable insight into many campaigns. |
 | Forum Reply | The Never Nigel campaign at 16:54 20 May 2025
The main issue with Nicks tweet was misinformation during the period of unrest. Tensions were high and Nick implied by a tweet that a Muslim lady had been attacked with acid with no proof to substantiate this. Cleveland police stated there was no record of any such incident. The local community could have been upset with such an incident and sadly during this period people acted on misinformation. Sometime there are consequences to what people say, thankfully this did not occur but as per previous message, essential to check and recheck sources. |

Not defending Nigel Farage in any shape or form. When quoting things it is essential you check and double check your sources so that the information is true, Nicholas did not. Especially when issuing this tweet, it was at a time of heightened tension in the UK. As others have highlighted the petition will attract the people that subscribe to Hope not Hates mandate. I am sure they have some extremely valid arguments with regards to many matters. |
 | Forum Reply | Shout out for Palmer at 20:00 10 May 2025
We have real problems if Palmer is the issue as he has the highest rating based on match ratings on this forum. If this is the case we will need to recruit 18 players in the Summer. |

You are an interesting character, initially yesterday I stated that parties has suggested this trade deal would not have taken place without Brexit occurring. You replied advising you had watched BBC all day without reference to this aspect(Ask yourself why BBC had omitted this). You asked for evidence of my statement, I duly replied within a few minutes with a link from The Telegraph. To which you replied stating a response from Badenoch, irrelevant to my opening post and of course no gratitude for providing the link(which if you had googled you could have found within a few seconds). I stated the inference was from Donald Trump and when you reply once again you go on about Badenoch. Time will see if it is a good deal or not but without question, Brexit has been integral in this deal, not to say Brexit has or can be viewed as a benefit to the UK economy. Interesting replies from other contributors in this thread. I wish you a good day as work calls. |

Badenoch states it is a bad deal, that can be evaluated in the course of time, once there is more clarity on the fine print and in time the tangible results. The aspect re Brexit refers to remarks by Donald Trump, I envisage he played a significant part in the trade agreement with the assistance of his colleagues. |

Valid point, thus we can see why they were not re-elected along with many other failures. |

Re US/Uk Trade Deal according to the parties involved only possible because of Brexit, be interesting how that aspect is commented upon. |

Saw him come on as Sub vs Southampton for approx 20 minutes, hardly touched the ball and miles off fitness, Southampton defenders were on top of the attackers during this period. Needs a very good summer fitness wise. |
